  Diabetic retinopathy : prevalence and risk factors of its development

  The late complications of the DM are one of the basic  reasons  of  premature  physical  inability  and lethality  of  the  DM  patients,  which  puts  essential harm  to  the  health  of  the  population  and  the economy as a whole (2).
