The aim of the research work. The aim of the study is to analyze the stages of development and facial differentiation of foraminifera developed in the deposits of the terrigenous and carbonate formations of the Jurassic age of the Bukharo-Khivin oil and gas region, to develop a modem bio-stratigraphic base for the dismemberment and correlation oil and gas bearing deposits of Jurassic period and for interregional research.
Scientific novelty of the research work is as follows:
a systematic composition and quantitative distribution of foraminifera in terrigenous and carbonate formations of the Jurassic age of the Bukhara-Khiva oil and gas bearing region are stated;
the dynamics of taxonomic diversity, changes in the structure of communities, the change of dominant taxa were analyzed, which made it possible to establish the stage-by-stage development of associations of foraminifera;
foraminiferal complexes are described monographically, developed in the Jurassic terrigenous and carbonate formations of the Bukharo-Khivin oil and gas region, 34 species and 26 genera of foraminifera were established;
the foraminifers were identified, which have not been met in Uzbekistan yet, which after additional material charges will be identified as new species;
rich and taxonomically diverse associations of foraminifera were established, among which migratory taxa of a wide geographical distribution have been established, allowing the interregional and global correlations.
