The aim of the research work is to develop proposals and recommendations on the evolving of an effective mechanism for managing the transport system of Central Asia on the basis of a system analysis.
Scientific novelty of the research work consists of the followings:
it’s developed the system of indicators on the basis of the indicative approach for analyzing and monitoring of road and rail transport complexes, their norms and threshold values have been established;
it’s worked out the Central Asian transport system model on the basis of the system approach;
it’s developed scenarios that determine the prospects of regional transport corridors and projects in the context of Uzbekistan's national interests;
it’s systemized the national economic interests of the Republic of Uzbekistan in transport sphere and was scientifically based the potential and real threats for them;
it’s worked out the model of coordination and effective management of the regional transport system on the basis of the system-target approach.
