Thus, the share of mercenary crimes, in particular fraud in the overall structure of crime in all countries of the world is the largest. The International Association of Certified Fraud Examiners ACFE (Association of Certified Fraud Examiners) has published a global report on fraud, which was compiled based on the study of 2504 cases of fraud committed in 2020 in 125 countries with a total damage of 3.6 billion dollars. The largest amount of fraud was found in the USA (46%), followed by Africa (15%), the Pacific Asian region (10%), Western Europe (7%), South Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe and Western/Central Asia by 5% respectively].
