These are the issues that form the methodological and theoretical foundations of linguistics. Linguistics has developed various scientific directions and methods since its early days. These issues include the theoretical principles, approaches, concepts, and notions that linguists use in the study of language.

South Korea, one of the most technologically advanced countries in the world, at the same time deeply honors its traditions. This is especially noticeable in the example of modern youth, who find themselves at the junction of two worlds.

This article explores the distinctive aspects of Russian literature, highlighting its rich themes, historical context, and influential authors. Key themes include the struggle between the individual and society, existential inquiries, and the role of suffering as a pathway to enlightenment. The analysis of major works by iconic writers such as Fyodor Dostoevsky, Leo Tolstoy, and Anton Chekhov reveals a deep engagement with the human condition. Additionally, the impact of socio-political changes, from the imperial era to the Soviet period, is examined, illustrating how these factors shape the unique identity and enduring relevance of Russian literary tradition.

This article presents theoretical information on the concept of a concept. Cognitive linguistics is a science that studies the nature of a certain concept in the linguistic representation of the world and its connection with world realities. The concept is one of the main categories of cognitive linguistics, an element that establishes a connection between culture and man. The term “concept” has been used in linguistics since the 90s of the 20th century. The concept of a concept still does not have a single general explanation or interpretation.

This article is dedicated to the structural-semantic analysis of scientific terminology in both English and Uzbek languages, focusing on the formation of terms used in scientific and technical fields, their semantic systems, stages of development, and translation issues. The paper examines the historical development of scientific terminology in the Uzbek language, analyzing the adaptation of words borrowed from other languages, including Arabic, Persian, Russian, and English. It also discusses the morphological and semantic structures of scientific terms, their cultural and linguistic significance, and the need for accurate identification and interpretation of contextual meanings of words. The article is focused on studying the processes of creating and standardizing scientific terms, as well as efforts to enhance the effectiveness of the Uzbek language in scientific communication.

Since the genre of the novel is a large genre, it contains more characters, images, and details than other genres. The scope of the plot is also shaped more broadly. In our national novels, from proverbs created by our people to epics, the hero's psyche and the nature of the work are realistically shown to the reader.

The concept of «family education» holds significant importance in shaping individuals and communities across various cultural contexts. This article investigates the synonymy of terms related to «family education» in both English and Uzbek, analyzing their semantic connections and contextual usage. By examining how these terms are expressed in both languages, the article highlights the similarities and differences in how family education is understood and communicated. Through this comparison, the research aims to uncover the cognitive and cultural aspects embedded within these terminological expressions, offering valuable insights for cross-cultural linguistics and education studies.

This article is devoted to the stylistic analysis of comparisons (similitudes) in the Uzbek and English languages. Similitudes, being an integral part of metaphorical and figurative language, play a key role in giving expressiveness and emotional coloring to the text. In the course of the study, a comparative analysis of the use of models in two countries is carried out, the features of their structure, function and stylistic ingenuity are revealed. Particular attention is paid to the factorial and linguistic differences that affect the choice and perception of comparisons in twenty different genres of speech culture. The work analyzes examples of literary manifestations, means of colloquial speech and dissemination of information, which allows us to identify similarities and differences in the use of this stylistic device. The purpose of the study is an in-depth understanding of the features of languages and their features in the Uzbek and English languages, as well as expanding knowledge of interlingual and intercultural communication.

The rapid integration of digital technologies into education has revolutionized teaching and learning but has also introduced complex ethical challenges for educational leaders. This study examines the critical role of ethical leadership in navigating issues such as data privacy, digital equity, responsible use of artificial intelligence, and the psychological impact of technology on students and educators. Through case studies and interviews with educational leaders, the research identifies best practices for fostering an ethical digital learning environment while addressing systemic barriers. The findings emphasize the need for a values-driven approach, robust policies, and continuous professional development to prepare leaders for the ethical dilemmas of the digital age. This work provides actionable insights for policymakers, administrators, and educators seeking to ensure that digital transformation in education aligns with ethical principles.

This article analyzes the ethnographies of crafts in the prose works of the Jadids from a linguistic and ethnographic perspective. It studies the terms of crafts found in the texts of the works, their meaning, function, and place in the cultural context. In the course of the research, the lexical units related to national terms related to crafts - embroidery, carpet weaving, jewelry, and headdress making - are analyzed. Also, the synonymous variants of these ethnographies and their interpretation in explanatory dictionaries are considered. The article aims to reveal the importance of language in reflecting national values and traditions through ethnographies of crafts.

In the article, an attempt was made to clarify the issue of the relationship between the concepts of "semantic field" and "concept", which are widely used in modern linguistics. The article discusses the notions of widely used today in modern linguistics notions 'semantic field' and 'concept' and their correlations. The author tries to express his own vision in this sphere.

The article focuses on the ghazals of Sakkoki, one of the bright examples of Uzbek classical literature, the analysis of ghazals and their figurative means, and the lyrics of Sakkoki.
