Through a combination of field surveys, language documentation, and sociolinguistic analysis, the study provides insights into the role of the standard Assamese language as a linguistic anchor and the challenges faced by dialect speakers. The findings contribute to a better understanding of linguistic diversity in Assam and offer valuable insights for language planning and preservation efforts.
