The heterogeneous character of studies on this subject has already been mentioned and can be noticed even on an examination of the definitions and classifications of the
occurrences. Some experts divide pauses into individual and functional pauses, others describe them as silent and filled pauses. Another quite vague question concerns the relationship between pauses and hesitations. In order to cast light on these issues, studies on the subject will be
presented following the different approaches. It has to be stressed that in many of them non-fluencies are not the object of the study but only a useful tool to investigate psychological and cognitive mechanisms in communication and/or SI.
An analysis of the performance of quarry hydraulic excavators shows that many excavators used in mining operations operate at lower productivity than those specified in the technical description. This can be caused by unexpected interruptions during operation, rapid failure of parts and unreliable operation of excavator personnel.
This article discusses the development of a protective element at the base of the jaw section of an excavator bucket that is technically and cost-effective in increasing the efficiency of quarry excavators. In addition, the results of experiments and their analysis of the proposed element of the protection of the base of the improved bucket jaw.
From analysis of the performance of hydraulic excavators, it has been found that many hydraulic excavators used in mining operations operate at lower capacities than indicated in the technical description. This can be caused by unexpected work interruptions, rapid failure of parts, and unreliability of the excavator's working parts.
In this article developments on improvement of cutting elements with increased service life for increase of productivity of open-pit excavators are resulted. Also, results of experimental tests of the improved teeth of an excavator bucket are submitted.
