Methodological significance of aphorisms in teaching foreign languages

Abstract

This article deals with the issue of using aphorisms in teaching foreign languages. Due to the fact that aphorisms trace the specific nationality of a language, aphorisms help learners to learn about the culture of another nation, to understand the speech in a foreign language correctly, as well as to enrich the vocabulary of learners. Effective use of aphorisms allows to develop students' communicative abilities at all levels of language: phonetic, lexical and grammatical.

Annotatsiya:

Ushbu maqolada xorijiy tillarni o‘qitishda aforizmlardan foydalanish masalasi ko‘rib chiqilgan. Aforizmlarda tilning

o‘ziga xos milliyligi aks etganligi tufayli, aforizmlar talabalarga boshqa millat madaniyati to‘g‘risida ma’lumot olishga, xorijiy
tildagi nutqni to‘g‘ri tushunishga, hamda talabalarning lug‘at boyliklarini oshirishga yordam beradi. Aforizmlardan samarali
foydalanish talabalarning tilning barcha darajalarida: fonetik, leksik va grammatik jihatdan muloqot qobiliyatini rivojlantirishi
mumkin.

KIRISH QISMI

Til ijtimoiy hodisa sifatida ushbu tilda so‘zlashuvchilarning haqiqatlari va an’analari bilan chambarchas bog‘liq. Til va
madaniyatni hamohanglikda o‘rganish talabalarning xorijiy tillarni bilish darajasini oshiradi, bu esa talabalarga o‘rganilayotgan
tilning paremiologik birliklariga qiziqishini oshiradi.

ASOSIY QISM

Bugungi kunda tilshunoslikda paremiologiya sohasi tilshunoslarning e’tiborini tortib kelmoqda. Paremiologiyaning obyekti
paremalar bo‘lib, ular maxsus til birliklari, belgilari hamda inson muloqotining zarur elementlari hisoblanadi. Parema yoki
paremiya yunoncha paroimia - “masal”, “ramzli hikoya” degan ma’noni bildirib, ma’lum bir tildagi avloddan-avlodga og‘zaki
shaklda ko‘chib yuruvchi, ixcham va sodda, qisqa va mazmundor, mantiqiy umumlashma sifatida paydo bo‘lgan turg‘un ibora,
maqol, matal va aforizmlardir [5, 222 b.].

Dunyo tillarining paremiologik fondlari nafaqat madaniy manbani, balki lingvistik ma’lumotlar jamlanmasini ham anglatadi.
Paremiologik birliklarni o‘rganish xorijiy tillarning grammatikasi, fonetikasi, lug‘at boyligi va sintaksisining jihatlarini tushunishga
imkon beradi. Paremiyalarni tahlil qilish orqali ona tilida so‘zlashuvchilar lisoniy olam manzarasining o‘ziga xos xususiyatlarini
o‘rganish mumkin.

Xorijiy tillarni o‘qitish jarayonida maqollardan foydalanish bo‘yicha bir qator ilmiy ishlar olib borilgan. Jumladan, amerikalik
mashhur paremiolog Miderning so‘zlariga ko‘ra, til o‘rgatishda qadimdan maqollardan foydalanib kelingan va bu an’ana davom
ettirilishi lozim, chunki maqollar bilim berishning asosiy didaktik vositalaridan biridir. Olimning fikricha, maqollar bir tilda
so‘zlashuvchi kishilarning barchasiga xos bo‘lganligi sababli, inson tabiati va umuman, dunyo haqidagi umumiy bilimlarni
berishning samarali vositasidir. Xorijiy tillarni o‘qitishda esa ular o‘ziga xos madaniy va metodik vazifani bajarib, ingliz tilini
o‘rgatishda maqollar o‘quvchilarning so‘zlashuv qobiliyatiga samarali ta’sir ko‘rsatadi [2, 146 b.].

Bizning tadqiqotimiz aforizmlarni xorijiy tillarni o‘qitish jarayonida qo‘llashga qaratilgan, chunki aforizmlarning xorijiy tillarni
o‘qitishda bir qator afzalliklari borligiga qaramay, aforizmlarga ta’lim jarayonida, ayniqsa xorijiy tillarni o‘qitishda yetarli
ahamiyat berilmaydi.

Aforizm deganda biz muallifning atrofdagi ma’lum bir voqealarni kuzatuvi asosida vujudga kelgan umumlashtiruvchi bayonotini
tushunamiz. Bir kishi tomonidan yaratilgan bunday bayonot keyinchalik boshqa odamlarning nutqida ushbu kuzatuvlarning
haqqoniyligi sababli qayta-qayta takrorlanishi mumkin.

B. Tomlinson “Materials Development for Language Learning and Teaching” asarida o‘quv materiallarining ta’limiy, tajribaviy,
aniqlashtiruvchi va kashf etuvchi kabi maqsadlarini ta’kidlaydi [1, 143 b.]. Turli xil o‘quvchilar xorijiy tillarni turli yo‘llar bilan
o‘rganar ekan, aforizmlar o‘quv materiallarining yuqorida keltirib o‘tilgan maqsadlaridan biri sifatida o‘quvchilar uchun xorijiy
tillarni o‘rganishda qo‘llanilishi mumkin. Xorijiy tillarni o‘rganuvchilar samarali natijalarga erishishlari uchun, barcha til
ko‘nikmalaridan foydalangan holda aforizmlarga xos bo‘lgan mantiqiy va lingvistik xususiyatlarni tushunishga harakat qilishlari
zarur.

Aforizmlar nafaqat ingliz tilining balki boshqa xorijiy tillarning ham til va nutq materiallarining ajralmas qismidir. Ular og‘zaki va
yozma nutq ko‘nikmalarini rivojlantirish bilan bir qatorda, gapirish va yozish ko‘nikmalarini shakllantirishda ham turtki bo‘ladi.
O‘rganilayotgan tilning aforizmlarini anglash so‘zlovchi nutqining mazmuni va ma’nosini tushunish darajasiga bog‘liq. Nutq
jarayonida aforizmlardan foydalanish, albatta, nutq madaniyatini ko‘p jihatdan oshirishi mumkin, bu esa unga falsafiy yondashuv
bilan yanada chuqurroq ma’no beradi. Ingliz tili darslarida aforizmlardan talabalarning lug‘at boyliklarini oshrish, grammatikani
faollashtirish, har xil o‘qish turlarini shakllantirish va nazorat qilish, monologik va dialogik nutq va yozish qobiliyatini
rivojlantirish kabi ko‘plab vazifalarni hal qilish uchun ishlatilishi mumkin [4, 295 b.].

Xorijiy tillarni o‘qitish jarayonida aforizmlar til qobiliyatini rivojlantirishga hissa qo‘shadigan ifodali vosita sifatida namoyon
bo‘ladi. O‘quv jarayonining turli bosqichlarida aforizmlar turli muammolarni hal qilishga yordam beradi. Tilshunoslikda tilning
asosiy uchta sathlari: fonetik, grammatik va leksik mavjud bo‘lib, xorijiy tillarni o‘qitishning birinchi darslardan boshlab talaffuz
ko‘nikmalarini shakllantirish, fonetik materialni ishlab chiqish boshlanadi.

Aforizmlarni xotirada mustahkam saqlash imkoniyati mavjud bo‘lib, ularni yodlash so‘zlar uyg‘unligi va qofiyalar orqali
osonlashadi. Aforizmlardan yangi fonetik materialni o‘rganishda, mustahkamlash mashqlarini bajarishda va uni takrorlashda
foydalanish mumkin. Xorijiy tillarni o‘qitishning dastlabki bosqichlarida tovushlarni mashq qilish uchun aforizmlarga murojaat
qilish mumkin. Ular talaffuzi qiyin tovushlarni, ayniqsa boshqa tilda mavjud bo‘lmagan tovushlarning talaffuzini o‘rgatishga
yordam beradi. Muayyan tovushni o‘z ichiga olgan alohida so‘zlar va iboralar o‘rniga, talabalarga dars jarayonida maxsus
tanlangan aforizmlarni taklif qilish mumkin. Keyininchalik ikki-uch dars davomida aforizmlar takrorlanib boriladi va o‘z
navbatida tovushni to‘g‘ri talaffuz etishga erishish mumkin. Ingliz tili o‘rganuvchilari uchun eng qiyin tovushlardan biri bu “th”
harflari birikmasidan iborat bo‘lgan tovushni talaffuz qilish hisoblanadi. Ko‘pgina talabalar bunday fonemalarni talaffuz qilishda
qiynaladilar, chunki bu fonemalarning analoglari ularning ona tillarida mavjud emas. Biz aynan shu tovush ishtirok etgan
aforizmlarni fonetik mashq sifatida berishni tavsiya etamiz.

Ma’lumki, “th” ikkita tovush hosil qiladi:

jarangli [ð] - then, this, there, other, smooth kabi so‘zlarda;

jarangsiz [θ] - thin, through, thumb, healthy, author, path kabi so‘zlarda.

Talabalar o‘z nutqlarida grammatik qurilmalarni to‘g‘ri qo‘llay olishlari uchun, aforizmlardan keng ko‘lamda foydalanish
imkoniyatiga ega. Zero, ingliz tilidagi aforizmlarning xilma-xilligi ularni o‘quv jarayonida samarali vosita sifatida qo‘llash
mumkinligini anglatadi. Dars jarayonida aforizmlardan foydalanish talabalarning til o‘rganishga bo‘lgan qiziqishlarini orttiradi,
ularning darsdagi faolligi va ish faoliyatini oshirishga xizmat qiladi. Bunday noan’anaviy yondashuv, albatta, nafaqat talabalarning
til o‘rganishga bo‘lgan motivatsiyasini oshiradi, balki ularning nutqini boyitib, uni yanada mazmunli va ma’noli bo‘lishiga yordam
beradi.

Grammatik mavzularni o‘zlashtirishda va turli xil grammatik mashqlarda aforizmlardan foydalanish maqsadga muvofiqdir. Ingliz
tili grammatikasini o‘rganuvchilari uchun ayrim grammatik mavzular qiyin va zerikarli hisoblanadi. Shunday mavzulardan biri bu
“Artikl” mavzusidir. Ushbu mavzu qiziqarli va oson bo‘lishida, artikllarning funksiyalarini o‘rganishda aforizmlarda qo‘llanilgan
artikllarni quyidagicha misol qilib berish mumkin.

Definite article + countable noun in the singular:

Ingliz aforizmlarini bilish talabalarning so‘z boyligini boyitadi, ularga tilning tuzilishini o‘rganishga yordam beradi va xotirani
rivojlantiradi. To‘liq fikrni o‘z ichiga olgan ba’zi jumlalar odatda yangi so‘zlarni eslab qolishni osonlashtiradi. So‘z boyligini
oshirishda mavzulashtirilgan aforizmlardan foydalanish maqsadga muvofiqdir. Masalan, “Business. Economics. Money”
mavzulariga oid iqtisodiy atamalarni o‘rganishda quyidagi mashq samarali hisoblanadi [3, 231 b.].

Xulosa qilib aytganda, xorijiy tillarni o‘qitishda aforizmlardan foydalanish fonetik, grammatik va leksik mavzularni yaxshiroq
o‘zlashtirishga yordam beradi, til va uning faoliyati haqidagi bilimlarni kengaytiradi. O‘rganilayotgan til mamlakati madaniyati
bilan tanishish jarayoni darslarda aforizmlardan foydalanish orqali osonlashadi. Xorijiy tillarni o‘qitishda bunday yondashuvni
amalga oshirish talabalarning darsdagi motivatsiyasini, faolligini, tashabbuskorligini oshiradi, ya’ni talabalarda xorijiy tillarni
o‘rganishga va til ko‘nikmalarini egallashga ehtiyoj paydo bo‘ladi.
