Acute respiratory infections arc the most common in childhood. They account for about 70% of all morbidity in children. The frequency of ARI depends on the child's age: it is higher in children of the first 3 years of life due to the peculiarities of the immune function, anatomical and functional characteristics of the organs and systems of the body, especially the respiratory organs.
