In modern traumatology and orthopedics, great importance is attached to the pathology of large joints, in particular, the hip joint. In recent years, a significant increase in the indicators of damage to the osteoarticular system has been determined from 10.9 up to 16.9 per 100 thousand of the adult population. The proportion of diseases and injuries of the hip joint is 8.1%. According to WHO forecasts, the number of patients with this pathology will grow, which is associated with an increase in the average life expectancy of the population. An analysis of the literature showed that the traditional X-ray examination has not lost its significance at the present time. According to X-ray data, more than 80.0% of pathological changes in bones and joints are established, and in almost 70.0% of cases a correct interpretation is possible obtained data [7,12,14].
