Fundamentals of conservative treatment of primary open-angle glaucoma

We observed 47 patients, including 31 women, 16 men aged 41 to 63 years. All patients were subdivided into 3 groups. By 1 group includes 20 patients (40 eyes), in which the angle of the anterior chamber is open (CPC) (3-4 opening degree), expressed subatrophy iris root, destruction of fibrous structures, visible network of blood vessels. In 16 patients (31 eyes), which are assigned to the group II, revealed: UPK opened (3-4 opening degree), moderate exo and endopigmentatsiya, exfoliation in individual patients trabeculae. In the III group included 11 patients (22 eyes), who during the inspection found open but narrow beaked anterior chamber angle, uneven pigmentation patterns of the CCP, the destruction of the fibrous structures. . The results of our observations, we can conclude that on the basis of data gonioscopy patients with open-angle glaucoma in the early stages of the disease can directly designate the type of treatment alone or a combination of drugs and determine its prognosis.
