Mark Twain’s The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, which was written in 1894, is still useful and important for today’s children in spite of being old. It is also often read by adults with pleasure as well. Relationships, families, the natural world, and daily life are all themes in the stories. Children and people in general must deal with these significant issues throughout their lives. They learn how to act toward others in particular situations, who to trust, and what friendship entails—basic principles of our way of life. Therefore, in my research, I attempted to reveal the issue of “freedom” in American writer Mark Twain’s masterpiece “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer”.

In this article, the word structure in English linguistics, Grammatical formation and types of word formation are discussed.

This article deals with a thorough examination of the visual elements employed by writers, shedding light on the imaginative and symbolic dimensions of their work. This analysis contributes to a broader comprehension of the complexities and nuances of non-realistic literature.

The article deals with the history of formation and development of phraseological units of English, Russian, Karakalpak languages, reveals the importance of phraseological units, the similarity and difference in the phraseology of English and Karakalpak languages.

In the world of linguistics, at present, in the process of globalization and intcrcultural communication of people, the question arises about all aspects of language, including the analysis of socio and linguacultural meanings reflected in the language. Color is a category that attracts the attention of specialists from all over the world, whose scientific interests lie in completely different fields of knowledge: physicists, biologists, doctors, psychologists, artists, designers, art historians, philosophers, literary critics, linguists and many others. Structural and linguistics, differences in the field of color names are associated with differences in the world pictures of representatives of different cultures, with established historical and cultural, religious, climatic and other features [1, 179-186].

Frazeologik sinonimiya bo’yicha ko’plab tadqiqotchilar ish olib brogan. Bu hodisa turli tillar, jumladan, rus, nemis, ingliz, o’zbek, ozarbayjon, turk, boshqird va boshqa tillar materiallari asosida ham o’rganilgin. Frazeologik sinonimiya masalasining tilshunoslikda o’rganilish tarixi Sh.Rahmatullayevning “O’zbek frazeologiyasining ba’zi masalalari” nomli monografiyasida ham qisman o’z aksini topgan. Olim shuni alohida ta’kidlaydiki, “frazeologik sinonimiya uchun umumiy va eng muhim mezon – bu semantik mezondir. Har bir sinonimik uyadagi (sinonimik qatordagi) frazeologik birliklar obyektiv borliqdagi bir xil tushunchalarni anglatishi kerak va shu bilan birgalikda, bir xil ma’noni anglatishi shart”. Chunki, har bir frazeologik sinonimlarning asosida turli obrazlar yotadi.

Ushbu maqola qoraqalpoq va ingliz kontekstlarida og’zaki va og’zaki bo’lmagan salomlashish xatti-harakatlarini ko’rib chiqadi. Данная статья посвящена выявлению рассмотрения тенденций и реализации новой лексики благодаря авторским неологизмам. Проводится анализ подходов к проблеме неологии. Основное внимание уделяется раскрытию особенностей функционирования авторских неологизмов. За основу исследования были взяты произведения из классики русской литературы.

Цель профессиональной подготовки специалиста понимается как система конкретных действий и ожидаемого результата, который определяет характер, порядок, содержание форм, методов и технологий различных этапов становления специалиста. Г.И. Петрова отмечает, что современная философия образования рассматривает возможности формирования новой коммуникативной парадигмы образования, которая обусловлена информационно-коммуникативным характером социальности [5]. К современному специалисту-юристу предъявляются требования не только высокого профессионализма, но и понимания принципов общения, особенно речевого. По существу, речь является одной из составляющих профессиональной правовой подготовки специалиста. Отсюда вытекает понимание, что специалист-юрист должен в совершенстве владеть различными видами речевой деятельности, уметь квалифицированно вести беседу и уверенно чувствовать себя как в бытовой, так и в профессиональной сфере общения.

В статье анализируются возможности проектной технологии на уроках русского языка в школе. Приводится примерная тематика проектов, описываются этапы деятельности. Автор делает вывод о том, что проектная деятельность развивает исследовательские возможности учащихся, позволяет им занять активную позицию на уроке, глубже изучить предмет, а также повышает их мотивацию к учебе.

Kazakhstan has been carrying out cardinal reforms in the higher education system in recent years. One of them is the introduction of a credit system of education in universities. In the modern world, the main goal of the transition to a credit system of education is the integration of the education system with the global educational space and the creation of opportunities to increase competitiveness, global demand for professionals in changing times of production and market situation. The problem of improving the individual work of students in pedagogical universities has formed the basis for the research of many specialists, including teachers and methodologists [1].

It is very interesting to study proverbs and sayings describing the image of a man and a woman in-nonnative Kazakh and English languages. Proverbs and sayings that describe the image of a man which are used in everyday spoken language add value to the theme of the article. In addition, the relevance of the work lies in the examination of cross-comparisons of proverbs and sayings between non-native languages. The article aims at studying proverbs and phrases in English that describe the appearance, character, social characteristics, and position of men in society. Gender is one of the most important parameters of binary opposition and social existence.

В последние годы постоянно возрастает объем профессиональной информации, а это требует формирования у обучающихся познавательной активности, направленной на творческое освоение учебного материала [3]. Главной задачей совершенствования высшего медицинского образования современного поколения является повышение качества подготовки врача. Современный образовательный процесс в медицинских вузах обеспечить развитие творческих способностей обучающихся. Учебная деятельность обучающихся медицинского факультета в данных условиях должна быть осознанной, ориентированной на освоение базовых медицинских знаний и овладение способами их реализации на практике [4].

Proverbs were first employed verbally without any supporting evidence in recorded literature, according to their origins. They have their origins in a country’s oral traditions. Folk literature known as proverbs condenses the nation’s knowledge into a few sentences. Proverbs, like other forms of folk literature like jokes and riddles, do not just appear out of thin air or are the creations of mythological beings; rather, they are always the products of human invention, whether done knowingly or unknowingly. The national mentality and national symbols of spiritual culture, etc., which have a direct relationship to socio cultural characters, are among the macro-components of the content structure of proverbs and sayings. These also include the social psychology of the language community’s members, the myriad contradictions and aspects of life, relationships between individuals and the community, and national mentality.

Newspapers are a tool for educational and personal empowerment. Newspapers are the best sources for the information and evolution in every field. Newspapers have to become more independent, more economical interpreter of information. It helps for the development of skills for the intellectual and personal empowerment. In the 21st century newspaper plays an essential role because they provide global information for every person whether he or she is businessman, politician, shopkeeper, teacher and student.

This article deals with examining research into the concept of “gratitude” using the example of English and Karakalpak languages, and also examines the lexicophraseological meaning in both languages and compares the characteristics of the perception of the concept by representatives of various communicational situations.

In the context of English language education, learner autonomy has emerged as a fundamental pedagogical concept that empowers students to take charge of their learning journey actively. By fostering learner independence and self-directed learning, students can cultivate essential language skills and engage more deeply with the language beyond the confines of the classroom.

This scientific research article aims to explore various approaches to teaching listening comprehension specifically tailored for English as a Foreign language (EFL) students. It examines listening comprehension skill, their function in the development of communicative competence, and approaches to teaching listening proposed by foreign researchers, top-down and bottom-up strategies. It helps to improve listening skill of EFL students of university and examines the effectiveness of the approaches in the teaching of listening by observing students’ listening in the classroom.

This article investigates teaching and learning to write using a task-based approach in an EFL (English as a Foreign Language) classroom as an effective method that focuses on developing students' writing skills through meaningful and authentic tasks. This approach encourages students to engage in purposeful writing activities that mirror real-life situations. The article also provides the key principles of TBLT and some strategies to implement in the learning process.

In recent years, there has been a major shift in the way that individuals learn languages. With technological advancements, language learning has become more interactive, engaging and entertaining than ever before. More and more learners are finding that they are able to learn a language more effectively than they would have done through traditional methods. An increasing number of studies have been carried out on the use of gamification on language learning and how it can enhance language proficiency, motivation and engagement among learners. The concept of gamification, which refers to the integration of game elements and mechanics into non-game processes or tasks, has been found to be effective in promoting learning.
