INTERPRETATION OF SYMBOLS OF NATURE IN THE POEMS OF RAUF
PARFI
M. Kuvondikova, R.M. Sharipova
Abstract: In Rauf Parfi's poems, through the symbols of nature (wind,
snow, clouds, etc.), modern poetry uses the freedom of creation granted by
national independence, expanding the range of topics, opening the way to
the psyche and consciousness of readers through various symbols. riyat. The
study of nature and related concepts in poetry is relevant today.
Keywords: emblem, symbol, image, motif, lyrical hero, wind, cloud, rain.
The presentation of nature and related concepts in the literature is the
heart of any work. Man came into being and evolved as an integral part and
child of nature. Mankind has used poetry in order to express their feelings
and experiences more effectively. The introduction of various symbols,

images, emblems helped them to become more educated. Rauf Parfi's work
is covered with colorful symbols and emblems. The skill of the poet is that
he can lead the reader in his direction without using the right word. Literary
critic D.Kuronov, thinking about the image, gives several new classifications
of it: motif, tapos, and archetypes are also distinguished ”[1, 49].However,
each artist, applying the symbols of nature, creates a unique concept and
beauty based on his own style, imaginary images, fine arts. When we turn to
the poems of Rauf Parfi, we see that he is distinguished by the superiority of
his unique skills and ability to describe. Rauf Parfi is a brilliant
representative of modern Uzbek poetry, who skillfully writes in every
aspect. In reading his poems, we can find unique artistic images and
analogies in each line. In each of the poems he creates, the poet seeks
himself, examines himself and strives to discover himself.
Clouds like hanging hands,
Head to the stump as you put it,
The thirsty desert is waiting for the rain.[2,375]
In this verse, the cloud is depicted in the image of a prisoner who puts
his head in the stump and is thirsty for his blood, that is, rain.
In the next verse, it is mentioned that the grass-covered world does not
understand this hot stone, that is, the truth.
The worlds are covered with grass,
Does not understand this boiling stone,
This desert is cracked, bleeding.[ 2,125 ]
In the next poem, the sadness of the sky is connected with the sadness
of the broken roof, as if the sadness of the lyrical hero is similar.
It rained all night,
The morning was white, the rain did not stop.
The house of heaven is broken
He cries heavily on the ground..[2,56 ]
Rauf Parfi's short poem of three quatrains begins in this way. the image
of the lyrical protagonist dripping with both sorrow and joy has a special
effect on the mood of the reader. The poet does not report that it is raining,
but that it is raining in front of the reader of the poem.
The gray cloud is silent,
The gray cloud is like sleep.
The gray cloud begins to attack,
Screaming whispers to my soul.
It's as if he's gasping for breath
Swallows fly all over the place.
The world looks sad-
He struggles to think.
The gray cloud finally falls,

This suspended lake was torn apart.[2,376 ]
If we pay attention to these verses, the cloud that wants to rain will be
dark gray. This cloud is a cloud of pains, dreams, it tries to distract a person
in the way of life, to bring sleep to his eyes and turn him away from the path.
One day this cloud will fall, that is, it will rain.
The following verses depict the landscape of the rain, drawing a picture
of a man in his life. The fact that the rain fell to the ground is said to be the
cause of his smiles. In this case, the ring-shaped circles in the rain are called
smiles. The rustling of the leaves makes the sound of the leaves resound.
Heavy wind, heavy rain,
The way to draw my picture.
Looking up floated
The soil on which smiles are written.
Clapping hands and combing hair
Head wash a handful of leaves.[2,97 ]
In the following verses, it is said that on a quiet night, even the pieces of
silver snow sound, so to speak, so silent that even the sound of snow can be
heard. And this silver snow is reminiscent of the distant love of the lyrical
hero.
Snow hits the window,
Sounds like soundless silver.
Snow hits the window,
The dream was as white as snow.
It's a wonderful snow tonight,
It will fly to me….
I don't think about you at all,
But I remember you….[2,86 ]
In short, modern poetry is a poetry that uses the freedom of creation
granted by national independence to expand the scope of topics, opening the
way to the psyche and consciousness of readers through various symbols. In
Rauf Parfi's poems we see that natural phenomena and human inner
experiences are described in harmony. For this reason, it is no exaggeration
to say that reading his poems is in the hearts of all ages. The fact that
fantasies and experiences are revealed through the symbols of nature
(snow, rain, clouds, etc.) testifies to the great skill of Rauf Parfi.
