The relationship between animal behavior and memory processes is a complex and dynamic interplay that has long fascinated researchers across various disciplines. This paper explores the intricate connections between animal behavior changes and memory processes, shedding light on how alterations in behavior patterns can influence memory formation, retention, and retrieval in different animal species. Drawing upon research from ethology, neuroscience, and cognitive psychology, we examine the mechanisms underlying these interactions and the factors that modulate memory performance in response to behavioral modifications. SCIENTIFIC UPDATE ON THE THERAPEUTIC MANAGEMENT OF ROTATOR CUFF INJURIES: SYSTEMATIC REVIEW WITH META-ANALYSIS OF RANDOMIZED CLINICAL TRIALS

To evaluate the effectiveness of operative and non-operative management in the treatment of rotator cuff injuries. Methodology: This systematic review was conducted according to Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) guidelines. A search was conducted using the online Cochrane Library, EMBASE, CINAHL, Medline and PubMed databases, using the following terms: Rotator Cuff Injuries OR Rotator Cuff AND Orthopedic Procedures. Results: 688 patients were included, of whom 479 underwent surgical treatment and 209 non-operative treatment. The studies analyzed in this systematic review showed better results for the VAS (Visual analog scale), the Constant Murley Score and for limb range of motion in patients who underwent surgical treatment. Conclusion: Surgical treatment for rotator cuff injuries was associated with a better prognosis than physiotherapeutic treatment.

UNVEILING A RARITY: LIGHT CHAIN DISEASE COINCIDING WITH PURE RED CELL APLASIA

This paper presents a unique case report of concurrent Light Chain Disease (LCD) and Pure Red Cell Aplasia (PRCA), two rare hematological disorders seldom observed together. Light Chain Disease is a plasma cell disorder characterized by the overproduction of abnormal immunoglobulin light chains, while Pure Red Cell Aplasia is a rare bone marrow failure syndrome resulting in the selective reduction or absence of red blood cell precursors. The co-occurrence of these conditions poses diagnostic and therapeutic challenges due to their distinct pathophysiologies and clinical presentations. Through a detailed examination of the patient's medical history, diagnostic workup, and treatment outcomes, this case sheds light on the complexities associated with managing rare hematological disorders with overlapping manifestations.
