Echocardiography (EchoCG) is a method of ultrasound examination of the heart, which allows to evaluate its anatomy and function. Age-related features of echocardiometric indicators may vary depending on the stage of human development: newborns, children, adolescents and adults.

Echocardiography (EchoCG) is one of the main methods of diagnosing heart diseases, allowing to obtain information about the structure and function of the heart chambers, as well as the state of the valve apparatus. Age-related changes in echocardiometric parameters are important both for assessing the normal development of the heart and for diagnosing various defects.

The monograph was recommended for publication by the Scientific Council of the Termez State University of Engineering and Agrotechnology (Minutes No. 2/5-1, dated September 27, 2024).
