INTRODUCTION

The purpose of granting the status of the “state

language” to the Uzbek language is to restore the

social status of the Uzbek language in the life of our

republic, further expand its scope of application and

consistently establish its study.

After all, it will be possible to achieve this goal by

deeply studying the language of written literature,

which has embodied the richness of our people's

language and passed down from generation to

generation, on the basis of which it will be possible to

consistently bolster the way a particular word artist

uses words, his skills.

Language plays a very kata role in fiction. Uzbek

writers made valuable comments about the decisive

role of language in the work of art and the fact that the

language of the century should be beautiful and

harmonious.

For example, Abdulla Kadiri attached great importance

to the language and its artistic and aesthetic and social

role, and demanded from young pencilers: ”from every

word that comes to memory, sentences are not

considered woven phases. Word-mold, let the thought

be a brick laid in it, ripe from many jug, lay the

foundation for a new life porch...”

The lexicon of the works of Abdulla Kadiri is rich and

colorful. A large part of them is made up of an

onomastic layer. In the linguistics of the later period,

onomastic units are approached in different aspects.

One of them is the onomastic code theory in

linguoculturology. According to this view, names, in

particular names in a work of art, are not only a unit of

language, but also an ethnomathetic information

carrier element of a culture considered a secondary

semiotic System [1:273].

Before researching such important aspects, a

significant factor is the statistical analysis of the

onomastic units of Kadiri's work “Days gone by”.

Therefore, we tried to statistically analyze the

onomastic units in the work on an alphabetical basis in

the tables below.
