The literary work of Valentin Rasputin, an
outstanding Russian prose writer of the 20th
century, is rich not only in deep psychologism and
philosophical searches, but also in artistic
coverage of pedagogical problems. His works
trace the themes of upbringing, education and the
influence of the socio-cultural context on the
formation of personality. Rasputin's works often
touch upon the theme of the search for identity in
the context of socio-cultural transformations[1].
Considering the upbringing of characters, the
author raises questions about the influence of
traditions and modern values on the formation of
personality. What ideals are passed down
through generations, and how do they relate to
the challenges of the modern world?
Rasputin's works focus on the role of a teacher
and educator in the formation of a personality[2].
What is their responsibility for shaping the moral
values of students? How does the interaction
between a teacher and a student take place in an
environment where traditional teaching methods
and modern approaches collide? Rural motifs are
widely represented in Rasputin's works, and the
rural school becomes an arena where various
pedagogical dramas unfold. The author draws
attention to the problems of accessibility of
education in the countryside, the influence of
rural lifestyle on the perception of knowledge by
students.
The combination of deep psychologism and
mastery in describing the inner monologues of
the characters allows the author to reveal
complex internal conflicts related to pedagogical
problems. The dialogic nature of the images
allows the reader to immerse himself in the
versatility of views on education and training.
Rasputin uses a rich language and style to convey
the complexity and depth of pedagogical
dilemmas. He addresses the realities of the
Russian countryside, creating authentic images
and situations, which makes his works closer and
clearer to the reader. The work of Valentin
Rasputin is a valuable resource for studying
pedagogical problems in literature. His works
offer an in-depth analysis of the influence of
traditions, education and socio-cultural context
on personality formation[3]. Through artistic
coverage of these topics, Rasputin creates works
that leave a lasting mark in literature and evoke
reflections on the essence of pedagogical
challenges and solutions in modern society.
Valentin Rasputin is an outstanding Soviet and
Russian writer, the author of a number of
remarkable works that invariably attract the
attention of readers with their depth and
philosophical overtones. One of the key topics
addressed in his work are pedagogical problems,
which find their expression in various aspects of
education, upbringing and intergenerational
relations. Rasputin not only analyzes existing
problems, but also offers his vision of possible
solutions.
One of the most striking examples of this
approach is the novel by Valentin Rasputin
"Farewell to Mother" (1971). In this work, the
author touches on the topic of raising children in
a rural village, where traditional values face the
challenges of modernity. Through the prism of
family relations, Rasputin highlights the

problems of transferring cultural heritage and
values from the older generation to the
younger[4]. He draws attention to the need to
preserve traditions and family foundations, while
emphasizing the importance of adapting to a
changing world.
In another notable work by Rasputin, "Live and
Remember" (1974), the author touches on the
problems of education and the influence of the
modern system on personality formation. The
novel tells about a young man who faces
difficulties in the process of learning and growing
up. The author critically evaluates the formal
approach to education, speaking about the
importance of an individual approach to each
student. Rasputin raises questions not only about
knowledge, but also about human values that are
formed in the process of education. Another key
aspect of the artistic coverage of pedagogical
problems in Rasputin's work is the attention to
intergenerational relations. In the stories and
novels of the writer, the theme of the conflict of
generations and the discrepancy of their
ideological foundations is often traced. He
explores how the change of time and sociocultural
shifts affect mutual understanding between
parents and children.
Thus, the work of Valentin Rasputin stands out
not only for his literary skill, but also for his in-
depth analysis of pedagogical problems. In his
works, the reader finds not only a grain of wisdom
regarding upbringing and education, but also an
invitation to think about the meaning of modern
values, preserving traditions and finding
harmony in relations between generations[5].
Literature has always been a mirror of society,
reflecting its values, problems and ideals. In the
work of Valentin Rasputin, an outstanding
Russian novelist, special attention is paid to the
pedagogical aspects of human life. His works
provide a unique opportunity to explore various
educational scenarios, highlight pedagogical
problems and consider them in the context of
modern educational discourse.
One of the main topics addressed in Rasputin's
work is the issue of upbringing and education. In
the novel "Farewell to his Mother," he turns to the
history of his family, raising the question of how
parental principles influence the formation of a
child's personality. The author immerses the
reader in the world of a village school, where the
primary formation of children's worldview takes
place.
Rasputin's mastery of using metaphors and
symbolism achieves a unique approach to
depicting pedagogical realities. As, for example, in
the story "The Last Term", where the teacher
becomes a kind of "last defender" in the face of
social changes that raise questions of values in
modern society. The study of Rasputin's works in
the context of modern educational approaches
makes it possible to identify current pedagogical
problems. What ideas of the author correspond to
modern educational requirements? What issues
raised by him remain relevant today? Valentin

writer, whose skill is appreciated for both
attention to the details of human existence and a

way, vividly reflect not only the inner world of the
characters, but also a wide range of public issues,
including pedagogical ones.
One of the key aspects highlighted by Rasputin in
his works is the problem of upbringing and
education. In his novels and short stories,
attention is paid not only to formal education, but
also to those values that are important for
personality formation. In the works of the writer,
there is a deep interest in the issues of ethics and
morality, introducing them into the context of
educational and educational processes. One
example of such artistic lighting is the novel "The
Last Term". In this work, Rasputin reveals the
topic of student-teacher relationships, showing
how, against the background of socio-cultural
changes, the value system in the educational
environment is changing. The author draws
attention to how important it is to preserve the
human factor in the educational process, despite
all the changes in society.
Another important work highlighting pedagogical
problems is the short story "The Living Corpse".
In this text, Rasputin analyzes the influence of the
environment on the formation of a child's
personality and shows how circumstances can
affect his worldview. The writer raises the
question of the influence of family values and
cultural heritage on the process of education. A
characteristic feature of Valentin Rasputin's work
is his desire to analyze not only individual
destinies, but also social processes. In his works,
pedagogical problems become part of a broad
context, allowing the reader to think not only
about specific situations, but also about the
education system as a whole[3]. Thus, the artistic
coverage of pedagogical problems in the works of
Valentin Rasputin is not just a reflection of
individual stories, but also a deep analysis of
social phenomena. The writer raises important
issues of upbringing and education, encouraging
the reader to reflect on the meaning and goals of
pedagogical activity in modern society.
Literature has always been a reflection of social
phenomena, including pedagogical problems. In
