The Amaranthaceae family includes 183 species. One of the most common
genera, Chenopodium L. (Sho‘ra), includes 131 species [1]. 275 species are recorded
in some data [2].
MATERIALS AND METHODS
A systematic analysis of Chenopodium L. species distributed in the flora of
Uzbekistan was carried out. Websites such as https://powo.science.kew.org,
https://www.plantarium.ru/ and https://www.gbif.org were used for modern
systematics of plants today. Distribution areas and life forms of the studied species
were covered according to Raunkier's classification [1,2,3,5,9].
RESEARCH RESULTS
Volume 2 of the book “Флора Узбекистана” contains information on the
species of Chenopodium L., which included the following 10 species:
1. Chenopodium botrys L.
2. Chenopodium foliosum (Moench) Aschers.
3. Chenopodium chenopodioides (L) Aellen.
4. Chenopodium glaucum L.
5. Chenopodium rubrum L.
6. Chenopodium murale L.
7. Chenopodium album L.
8. Chenopodium strictum Roth.
9. Chenopodium vulvaria L.
10. Chenopodium serotinum L.
According to the current modern systematics [1] of these species, these 10
species are included in the following 6 genera: Dysphania R.Br., Blitum L., Oxybasis
Kar. & Kir., Chenopodiastrum S.Fuentes, Uotila & Borsch., Chenopodium L.,
Atriplex L. The systematic name of these species has also changed.
