continues to be used worldwide as a unifying medium. In addition to being the
official language of many international organizations, such as the United Nations,
the World Trade Organization, English also has a central place in the field of
scientific research and technological innovations.

Knowledge of English plays an important role not only in international

relations, but also in personal and professional development. In the modern world,
in many prestigious universities, educational processes are carried out in English,
and knowledge of this language opens the door to endless opportunities for students.
There is also a high demand for professionals who speak English in the labor market.
This article analyzes the importance of the English language and the reasons for the
increase in demand for it on the basis of various factors.

There have been a number of studies on the global importance of English. In

his book “English as a Global Language”, Crystal analyzes the position of English
as an international language, arguing that learning this language is crucial in global
communication. Graddol, on the other hand, gave forecasts for English proficiency
and use in the 21st century in his study. These literature shed light on the importance
of English in education and economics.

Knowledge of English opens the door to great opportunities for everyone in the

modern world. Knowledge of this language not only ensures personal success, but
also increases the country's competitiveness in the global arena. Therefore, it is
necessary to expand the state programs for teaching English and attract modern
technologies to the educational system.

It is also important to organize free or affordable English courses for all

segments of the population, improve teacher skills and create textbooks that meet
international standards. Only then do we educate a generation that actively and
successfully participates in the international arena.

The relevance of the English language at the moment is significant on a global

scale. Several factors contribute to this, including:

1.

Global Communication

: English has become the dominant language

for international communication. It is widely used in business, diplomacy, travel,
and media, making it essential for people from different linguistic backgrounds to
communicate.

including websites, social media posts, blogs, and forums, is written in English. As
the internet becomes a primary platform for communication and information

Cultural Influence

: English-speaking countries, particularly the

United States and the United Kingdom, have significant cultural influence, which
further reinforces the global presence of the language.

Despite its dominance, English also faces challenges in terms of its complex

grammar and the growing prominence of other languages. However, its role as a
bridge language in various fields means it will likely maintain its global relevance
for the foreseeable future.

English holds significant importance globally for various reasons:
