THE CLASSIFICATION OF HUMAN INTELLIGENCE
Abstract
One of the most well-known and widely used classification systems is the theory of multiple intelligences developed by Howard Gardner. According to this theory, there are eight different types of intelligence, including linguistic, logical-mathematical, spatial, bodily-kinesthetic, musical, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and naturalistic. Gardner's theory suggests that individuals may have strengths in one or more of these areas, and that intelligence is not simply a matter of a single IQ score.
