Introduction:

In today’s world, the education system is considered

one of the main indicators of societal development. At
the core of this system lies the personality and activity
of the teacher. A teacher is not only a provider of
knowledge but also a key figure in shaping the next
generation into conscious, enlightened, and patriotic
individuals. Therefore, the daily life of a teacher in
modern society, the challenges they face, and their
social condition deserve thorough scientific analysis.

MAIN PART

Nowadays, teachers are expected not only to master
their subject but also to utilize modern technologies,
adopt advanced pedagogical approaches, and take the
lead in educational and moral matters. These demands
increase their workload and lead to professional stress.
According to the national education development
program, it is necessary to modernize the education
system, retrain staff, digitize the learning process, and
create digital educational spaces. These requirements
contribute to the formation of a new national
education system, the development of human capital,

and the strengthening of the country’s economy.

It is crucial to create conditions for teachers to
continuously

update

their

knowledge

and

competencies and to improve the entire educational
system.

Today’s teachers must work in ever

-changing

environments, which, in turn, requires the constant
improvement of their professional qualities. The
ongoing development of pedagogical theory and
methodology, the introduction of new teaching and
upbringing technologies, and their implementation
into practice highlight the need for teachers to possess
additional training in the field of educational
technologies.
The integration of innovative technologies into the
educational process enables teachers to apply new
approaches to their professional activities and improve
their ability to equip students with relevant knowledge.
Modernization of the education system also reflects
changes in students' learning activities .
The status of teachers in society is constantly changing.
In some countries, their status is very high, while in
some regions they are not appreciated enough. In the
experience of Uzbekistan, although there is respect for
teachers, there are some practical problems: limited
salaries, financial incentives and opportunities for
personal development.
Working with students, communicating with parents,
management and various segments of society puts
great psychological pressure on teachers. This affects
their mental health and motivation.
Literature Review
Scientific studies and research on this topic indicate
that teachers' professional development, social

protection, and psychological well-being directly
impact the quality of education. For instance, reports
from the International Center for Educational
Assessment suggest that in societies where teachers
are highly valued, the quality of education is
correspondingly high.
Furthermore, local sources provide numerous practical
examples and issues related to teachers' daily lives. The
teaching profession is considered highly honorable.
Renowned Russian pedagogue A.S. Makarenko highly
valued the teaching profession, stating: "An educator
must know how to organize, walk, joke, be cheerful or
stern; they must conduct themselves in such a way that
every action, behavior, and attire educates the
children."
This definition implies that a teacher should be a well-
rounded, ideal figure for students, even in their manner
of dress.

DISCUSSION AND RESULTS

Analyses show that teachers should be viewed not only
as knowledge providers but also as active participants
in social processes. Understanding their professional
and personal needs, and providing material and moral
support, can enhance the quality of the education
system.
Given the increasing complexity of teachers' roles in
modern education, it is essential to study their lives and
activities systematically.
Currently,

the

competency-based

approach

emphasizes not only the formation of professional
competencies but also the development of personal
qualities in future specialists. Higher education
standards require future professionals to be
competitive in the labor market, proficient in their
field, and capable of navigating related areas

achievable through a competency-based approach.
The term "competency" is often defined as the
readiness to apply acquired knowledge in practice, or
the ability to solve problems effectively. Derived from
Latin, "competency" signifies being well-informed and
experienced in a particular matter.
According to higher education standards, competency
involves the ability to apply knowledge, skills, and
personal qualities successfully in a specific field.
Addressing the issue of a competency-based approach
requires distinguishing between "competency" and
"competence," as these terms are frequently used
interchangeably in pedagogical literature, despite
lacking a universally accepted interpretation.
The

concept

of

"competence"

(from

Latin

"competentia," meaning to achieve together, manage,
correspond, or be appropriate) is variably interpreted
in dictionaries, often associated with authority or full
rights.

Ideas of a competency-based approach have been
explored in the works of several foreign researchers.
This approach in higher education institutions is based
on defining competence as the goal of professional
training.
A competency-based approach envisions students
mastering various skills that enable effective action in
diverse life and professional situations.

CONCLUSION

In modern society, the life and activities of teachers are
complex yet hold significant importance. Valuing their
daily efforts, providing social protection, and creating
opportunities for professional development are
guarantees of educational quality and societal
progress.
Based

on

the

analyses

presented,

specific

recommendations are offered to educational sector
leaders, policymakers, and community representatives
to improve teachers' conditions.
For successful performance, every teacher must
possess pedagogical mastery. The fundamental
principle of pedagogical mastery is achieving significant
results with minimal effort. Creativity is always a
companion to this mastery.
Pedagogical mastery traits develop in individuals who
are interested, capable, and talented in teaching.
Pedagogical activity is inherently creative. A teacher
shapes the student's personality, makes independent
decisions in unexpected situations, solves pedagogical
problems, and independently manages the educational
process.
All these aspects are connected to the essence,
purpose, and nature of creativity. Only a teacher with
pedagogical mastery can achieve great success in their
professional activities.
