IN THE DIGITAL ECONOMY

Abstract:
This article provides information on the concept of service industries
and the digital economy, as well as effective features of the development of the service
industry in the context of the digital economy. Including the use of the latest digital
technologies in the implementation of this process.

business.

услуг и цифровой экономики, а также эффективных особенностях развития
сферы услуг в условиях цифровой экономики. В том числе использование
новейших цифровых технологий при реализации этого процесса.

INTRODUCTION
By services, first of all, it is necessary to understand the product of labor aimed
at satisfying human needs. The main goal of the product (service) obtained from this
type of activity is to satisfy specific needs of people. In other words, services are
activities aimed at satisfying various needs and requirements of people.
According to the "NEW UZBEKISTAN DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY FOR
2022-2026" of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, to increase the volume of
services by 3 times in the next 5 years by developing services and service industries in
the regions and in this direction, a total of 3.5 the goal of creating a million new jobs
is set.
LITERATURE ANALYSIS
As a result of the training of highly qualified and high-quality specialists for the
service sector in our republic, effective use of available resources in service enterprises,
development of economic activity, and most importantly, the solution of a number of
very urgent problems in the sector have opened up new opportunities. These
circumstances have changed the essence and nature of service sector enterprises and
branches. It led to a radical renewal of the place, position and importance of the service
sector in the market of goods and services. In this regard, the development of services
on the basis of digitization was set as a priority. On the one hand, this leads to saving
of excessive expenses, on the other hand, it creates an opportunity to prevent various
illegal situations and corruption.
In the conditions of digitization of the economy, the service sector is
economically more efficient than industrial production, because the implementation of
initial activities in the service sector requires less funds, and the turnover rate of capital
is much higher. Currently, in the conditions of the transformation of the economy, the
improvement of the socio-economic mechanism of increasing efficiency in the
continuous and stable development of service enterprises and the provision of service
intensity is a particularly urgent issue.
Digital economy enables and implements the sale of goods and services through
the Internet, e-commerce. The digital economy includes three components:
infrastructure (devices, software, telecommunications, etc.), e-business (digital
processes, in organizations) and e-commerce (selling goods online).

Also, the digital economy is an economy based on digital technologies, but in
many ways we understand that the digital economy carries out business transactions in
markets based on the Internet and the World Wide Web. The digital economy has many
advantages. This reduces the cost of payments and opens up new sources of income.
In the online market, compared to the traditional economy, the cost of services is lower
(primarily due to lower advertising costs). In addition, in the digital world, goods and
services can quickly go to the global market and be accessible to people anywhere in
the world. A product offering can be modified almost immediately to meet new
consumer expectations or needs. The digital economy provides more diverse
information, education, scientific, entertainment content - faster, better and more
convenient.
METHODOLOGY
We can say that the digital economy is a new system that implements political-
economic, scientific-social, cultural and educational relations with the help of digital
technologies, and the sustainable development of the service sector in the conditions
of the digital economy is of particular importance.
Digital data has become a key factor in the service sector, becoming the main
asset of companies and playing a key role in all economic activities. The information
environment of the service business, which provides the use of information on the
activity of economic systems in real time in the entire global network, is of particular
importance. Digital infrastructure includes a set of technologies that provide
computing, telecommunications, and network needs of companies operating on a
digital basis.
The latest digital technologies that are part of the digital infrastructure of the new
economy include:
- big data technologies (Big Data)
- blockchain technologies
- Internet
- neural networks (artificial intelligence)
- virtual and augmented reality technologies
- 3D printing
- mobile devices
- smart sensors, etc.
Communication services, banking services, tourism services in the service sector
are fully focused on the active introduction of digital technologies, many business
processes in the service economy have already been rebuilt in accordance with the new
paradigm of the development of the digital economy.

We will consider the important aspects of the development of service industries
in the conditions of the digital economy.
First of all, one of the areas where digital technologies are most actively
implemented is tourism services. In order to create the attractiveness of the tourist
destination and ensure the flow of tourists, it is necessary to create a good information
supply, which includes all the information necessary for the traveler.
DISCUSSION AND RESULTS
Experiments show that when planning a trip, 80% of tourists study videos and
photos posted on social networks and related to the chosen destination, 86% consider
mobile communication to be the main thing during the trip, 73% of tourists believe that
electronic boarding passes and tickets are of great importance. 75% of tourists leave
their reviews on the site, 37% of tourists use their smartphone concierge service while
traveling, 69% want to get as much information as possible about their destination, on
average, tourists use 17 different things during their trip use different mobile
applications.
Also, digitization of the service sector will bring about changes in the labor
market. The structure of the labor market in the service sector is also changing, the
disappearance of some professions and the emergence of new professions are
predicted. To work in the digital service economy, new cognitive, social behavior and
digital skills are required, which should be formed in the process of training personnel
capable of working in the digital economy.
The important thing is that since the digital economy is based on the processing
of large amounts of information, the digital competencies of employees, security,
reliability, and long-term storage of large amounts of information are of particular
importance.
In particular, platform-based businesses have a huge advantage in the digital
economy. As both an intermediary and an infrastructure, they have the ability to record
and delete all information related to online activities and interactions between platform
users. The growth of digital platforms is directly related to their ability to collect and
analyze digital data, but their interest and behavior depends on how they commercialize
this data for profit.
CONCLUSION
To sum up, as a result of digitization of the economy, it is possible to develop
not only service industries, but also all industries by obtaining maximum benefits with
minimum costs. The use of modern digital technologies, which are part of the digital
infrastructure of the new economy, will create a wide range of opportunities for this
process.
