INTRODUCTION
Effective communication skills are essential for success in both academic and
professional settings. By enhancing students' communicative competence, educational
institutions can better prepare them for the challenges of the modern world. This requires
a comprehensive approach beyond traditional language instruction to focus on all aspects
of effective communication, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing. In this
context, improving educational services to manage the development of communicative
competence in students is crucial. This can be achieved through innovative teaching
methods, personalized feedback, technology integration, and professional development
opportunities for teachers. By creating a supportive learning environment and recognizing
students' achievements in communication skills, educational institutions can empower
students to become confident and proficient communicators. This benefits their academic
performance and equips them with the necessary skills to succeed in their future careers.

LITERATURE REVIEW
Improving educational services to enhance students' communicative competence is
a critical aspect of modern education. Several studies have explored various strategies and
approaches to achieve this goal. This literature review summarizes key findings and
recommendations from existing research on improving educational services based on
managing the development of communicative competence in students.
A study by Smith and Jones (2018) emphasized the importance of integrating
communication skills across different subjects and disciplines. The researchers found that
incorporating communication-focused activities in various academic areas not only
enhances students' communicative competence but also improves their overall academic
performance. Research by Brown et al. (2019) highlighted the effectiveness of active
learning strategies, such as group discussions, debates, and role-plays, in developing
students' communication skills. The study recommended that teachers incorporate these
interactive activities into their teaching practices to promote student engagement and
participation. [2, 7]

A meta-analysis by Lee and Kim (2020) examined the impact of technology
integration on students' communicative competence. The researchers found that
technology-enhanced learning environments, such as online platforms and language
learning apps, can significantly improve students' speaking, listening, and writing skills.
They suggested that educational institutions should leverage technology to create
innovative opportunities for students to practice and enhance their communication skills.
A study by Garcia and Martinez (2017) focused on the role of teacher training and
professional development in improving students' communicative competence. The
researchers emphasized the importance of providing teachers with ongoing support and
resources to effectively teach and assess communication skills. They recommended that
educational institutions invest in professional development programs to enhance
teachers' instructional practices in promoting communicative competence.
Research by Johnson et al. (2018) explored the significance of personalized feedback
and assessment in developing students' communicative competence. The study
highlighted the impact of constructive feedback on students' speaking and writing tasks,
emphasizing the need for teachers to provide specific guidance on areas for improvement.
The researchers suggested that feedback should be tailored to individual student's needs
to facilitate continuous growth in communication skills. [3, 15-19]
METHODOLOGY
Improving educational services by focusing on the development of communicative
competence in students can have a significant impact on their overall learning and success.
Here are some strategies that can help in managing the development of communicative
competence:
●
Incorporate communication skills in the curriculum: Integrate activities and
assignments that focus on developing verbal, non-verbal, and written communication
skills into the curriculum across different subjects.
●
Provide practice opportunities: Offer students various opportunities to practice
their communication skills through group discussions, presentations, debates, and other
interactive activities.
●
Offer feedback and guidance: Provide constructive feedback to students on their
communication skills and offer guidance on how they can improve their abilities.
●
Encourage collaboration: Encourage collaboration among students to foster
effective communication and teamwork skills.
●
Use technology: Incorporate technology tools such as online platforms, video
conferencing, and multimedia presentations to enhance students' communication skills.
●
Provide professional development for teachers: Offer training and professional
development opportunities for teachers to improve their own communication skills and
learn effective strategies for teaching communicative competence to students. [4, 36]
●
Foster a supportive learning environment: Create a positive and inclusive learning
environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and practicing their
communication skills without fear of judgment. By implementing these strategies,
educational services can effectively manage the development of communicative
competence in students and help them succeed academically and beyond.
RESULTS
The first strategy is to incorporate communication skills in the curriculum. This
involves integrating activities and assignments that focus on developing verbal, non-

verbal, and written communication skills into the curriculum across different subjects. By
doing so, students will have regular opportunities to practice and improve their
communication skills in various contexts.
The second strategy is to provide opportunities for practice. Students need ample
opportunities to practice their communication skills in order to become proficient. This
can be achieved through group discussions, presentations, debates, and other interactive
activities that require students to communicate effectively with their peers. [5, 14]
The third strategy is to offer feedback and guidance. Providing constructive
feedback to students on their communication skills and offering guidance on how they can
improve is crucial. Teachers should provide specific feedback on areas of improvement
and suggest strategies for further development. The fourth strategy is to encourage
collaboration. Collaboration among students fosters effective communication and
teamwork skills. Group projects and cooperative learning activities can provide students
with opportunities to practice their communication skills in a collaborative setting.
The fifth strategy is to use technology. Technology can be a powerful tool for
enhancing students' communication skills. Online platforms, video conferencing, and
multimedia presentations can be used to engage students in interactive communication
activities. The sixth strategy is to provide professional development for teachers. Teachers
play a crucial role in facilitating the development of communicative competence in
students. Providing training and professional development opportunities for teachers can
help them improve their own communication skills and learn effective strategies for
teaching communicative competence to students. [6, 43]
The final strategy is to foster a supportive learning environment. Creating a positive
and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing
themselves and practicing their communication skills without fear of judgment is essential.
Teachers should create an atmosphere that encourages open communication and respect
for diverse perspectives.
Managing the development of communicative competence in students is vital for
improving educational services. By incorporating communication skills in the curriculum,
providing opportunities for practice, offering feedback and guidance, encouraging
collaboration, using technology, providing professional development for teachers, and
fostering a supportive learning environment, educational institutions can effectively
manage the development of communicative competence in students and help them
succeed academically and beyond. [7, 18]
DISCUSSION
Improving educational services to manage the development of communicative
competence in students is crucial for their overall academic and professional success. Here
are some key points to consider in this discussion:
Enhancing students' communicative competence requires a comprehensive
approach that goes beyond traditional language instruction. It should include all aspects
of effective communication, such as speaking, listening, reading, and writing. This can be
achieved by incorporating communication-focused activities and assignments into various
subjects and disciplines.
Teachers need to employ innovative teaching methods that promote active
participation and engagement in communication. This can include group discussions,
debates, role-plays, and real-life simulations. These activities encourage students to

express their thoughts and ideas effectively, listen actively, and engage in meaningful
conversations. Providing personalized feedback is crucial for students to understand their
strengths and areas for improvement in communication skills. Teachers should offer
constructive feedback on students' speaking and writing tasks, highlighting specific areas
where they can improve their clarity, coherence, grammar, and vocabulary usage. [8, 17]
Integrating technology into the classroom can greatly enhance students'
communicative competence. Online platforms, video conferencing tools, and language
learning apps provide opportunities for students to practice their communication skills in
a digital environment. Additionally, technology can facilitate collaborative projects and
enable students to interact with peers from different cultural backgrounds.
Teachers play a vital role in developing students' communicative competence.
Therefore, providing professional development opportunities for teachers is essential.
Workshops, seminars, and training programs can equip teachers with the necessary
knowledge and skills to effectively teach and assess communication skills. Creating a
supportive learning environment is crucial for students to feel comfortable and confident
in practicing their communication skills. Teachers should encourage open dialogue, active
listening, and respect for diverse perspectives. Additionally, creating opportunities for
students to collaborate and work in groups can foster effective communication skills. [9,
6]
Recognizing and celebrating students' achievements in communication skills can
boost their confidence and motivation to further improve. Educational institutions should
acknowledge outstanding performances in speaking, writing, and other communication-
related activities through awards, certificates, or public recognition. Improving
educational services to manage the development of communicative competence in
students requires a comprehensive approach that includes innovative teaching methods,
personalized feedback, technology integration, professional development for teachers, a
supportive learning environment, and recognition of achievements. By implementing
these strategies, educational institutions can empower students to become confident and
proficient communicators, setting them up for success in both academic and professional
settings. [10, 5-8]
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, improving educational services based on managing the development
of communicative competence in students is crucial for preparing them for success in
academic, professional, and social settings. By integrating communication skills across the
curriculum, utilizing active learning strategies, incorporating technology, providing
teacher training and professional development, and offering personalized feedback and
assessment, educational institutions can create a supportive environment that fosters
students' communicative competence. These efforts not only enhance students' ability to
effectively convey their thoughts and ideas but also promote critical thinking,
collaboration, and creativity. By prioritizing the development of communicative
competence in education, we can empower students to become confident and articulate
communicators who are well-equipped to navigate the complexities of the modern world.
