PERSONALITY IN THE PROCESS OF STUDYING SOCIAL PHILOSOPHY

Abstract

: This article considers some aspects of developing the harmoniously

developed youth in the process of studying social philosophy in terms of the society
humanization.

Since the first years of the independence, the Republic of Uzbekistan pays

particular attention to the revival and further development of spirituality, improvement
of the national education system, strengthening of its national foundation, raising them
to the level of the world standards in compliance with the requirements of the time, as
a truly educated person can highly value human dignity, preserve national values, raise
national self-awareness, selflessly fight to live in a free society, so that our independent
state occupies a worthy, authoritative place in the world community. The main goal
and driving force of the reforms being implemented in the Republic of Uzbekistan is
the individual, his harmonious development and well-being, the creation of conditions
and efficient mechanisms for realizing the interests of the individual, changing
outdated stereotypes of thinking and social behavior. An essential condition for the
development of Uzbekistan is the formation of a perfect system of educating human
resources based on the rich intellectual heritage of the people and universal human
values, achievements of modern culture, economics, science, engineering and
technology.

Currently, when the world is rapidly changing and various new threats and

dangers threaten the stability and sustainable development of nations, it is more
important than ever to focus on spirituality and enlightenment, moral education, and
improvement of youth [1, p. 27]. Accordingly, the changes occurring today in Uzbek
society contribute to the formation of new priority values in all spheres of life and
activity, including education.

The educational system of Uzbekistan is characterized by a variety of forms,

methods, and approaches to the formation of a harmoniously developed generation

capable of actively participating in the socio-cultural process of life in modern society.
Humanization of modern society, creation of a reliable system of guarantees of legal
and social protection, social justice are the most significant and priority in human
issues. A human becomes the main object of the research.

Social philosophy as a science that comprehensively and inclusively investigates

various spheres of public life and promotes the humanitarization of society acquires
special significance in solving the priority task of developing a harmoniously
developed generation. Dynamic aspects of the socialization of the individual create
prerequisites for the further development of culture and development, determine the
emergence of new socio-cultural situations in accordance with its diverse spiritual
needs. In this regard, problems of a social nature come to the forefront, requiring direct
entry into social practice. These are the problems of interaction between society, the
ecological environment and the technological development of the state, in the
functioning of which social philosophy plays a significant role, along with social
psychology and social pedagogy. Social philosophy demonstrates particular interest in
the younger generation, which constitutes a significant social group of the population
of Uzbekistan, determining the future of society and the state.

The primary task of modern social philosophy is to develop such qualities and

abilities that would give a person the opportunity to comfortably adapt to changing
social conditions, overcome difficulties associated with the emergence of something
new, and create new social spaces. These factors are acquiring special significance due
to the fact that in XXI century social issues are becoming more relevantas a result of
the rapid development of civilization.

In the context of globalization, the importance of focusing education and

upbringing on the formation of a purposeful personality capable of successfully
performing diverse life functions in the modern world is increasing. This requires
flexible adaptation of the education system to the current prospective needs of the labor
market, formation of the ability for creative activity and social partnership. In this
process, it is difficult to overestimate the role of social philosophy and the degree of its
efficiency.

In the literary sources of contemporary scholars it is emphasized that “without

analyzing the inner spiritual world of a person it is impossible to understand his
harmony with the outside world, and therefore it is impossible to successfully solve
any international, religious and national-state tasks, no matter how far they may seem
to be from the people for whom they are planned and implemented” [2; p. 7]. Thus, the
fundamental factor of social development is the spiritual activity of the subject. “The
spiritual sphere is the area of creation and development of spiritual values” [4; p. 20].
The human as an end in himself of development represents the humanistic ideal of the
transformations taking place in our country. Humanization of education is based on the

most significant social principles, growing tendencies of functioning of the education
system.

Currently the renewal of the educational content should be aimed at the formation

of humanistic socially significant values and the construction of behavior on their
basis. On the basis of social philosophy it is possible to deeply study the processes
occurring in the moral world of the younger generation, as well as analyze the
contradictions

of

the

moral

development.In

reliance

upon

the

social

philosophymethodology, the theory of the society ignorance, it is possible to determine
effective means of educating the moral value of the individual. The scientific
knowledge accumulated by social philosophy meets the objectives of education and
upbringing of a harmoniously developed individual. Moral knowledge, the moral
content of any rule of conduct, the essence of the norms of behavior in society
constitute an integral part of social philosophy. In the context of global informatization
of society as one of the dominant trends of XXI century, the role of social philosophy
becomes even more significant and responsible in the educational environment.

On the basis of progressive social concepts developed in the process of socio-

historical development it is necessary to shift to a qualitatively new level of the
educational process, to determine significance of the social environment, to focus
attention on the fact that a human, according to his natural essence, is perceived as a
self-developing system in a socio-cultural environment.

In the process of socialization of the educational system it is necessary to identify

and support talented researchers and teachers engaged in the investigation of the social
environment, as well as the publication of the research achievements in the field of
social philosophy, studying various aspects of education and upbringing, because in the
modern world, intellectually and spiritually developed, proactive youth becomes the
driver of sustainable progress.Today the young generation of the New Uzbekistan is
the driving force and active participant in dynamic and large-scale reforms to
modernize the country.
