TENSES IN ENGLISH

Abstract: English is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world, and
its grammatical structure and tenses play an important role in the communication
process. Tenses are mainly used to express time and show when actions happened.
English has a complete system of tenses that help express things like duration,
completion, and repetition of an action. Tenses are the main part of the language, and
their correct use serves to make communication clear and understandable.
Key words: English language, tenses, language, communication, present
simple tense, past simpe tense, future simple tense.
There are three main tenses in English: past simple tense, present simple tense,
and future simple tense. Each tense takes several different forms. The past simple
tense, for example, shows the time when an action or event has passed. The present
simple tense expresses the actions that are happening or are continuously being
carried out at the present time. The future simple tense shows actions that are
expected to happen in the future. Understanding the difference between these tenses
is important when communicating in English. The past simple tense is very important.
Through the past simple tense, we can express historical events, personal experiences,
and important moments in our own lives. The different forms of the past simple tense,
such as the past simple, the past continuous, and the past perfect, indicate when
actions took place and their duration. The past simple tense, for example, expresses
that an event or action happened at a specific time. The past continuous tense shows
that an action continued for a long time. The past perfect tense, on the other hand,
shows a connection between past events and their effect on the present. The present
simple tense is one of the most used tenses in communication. Through the present
simple tense we can express our thoughts, feelings and current events. The present

simple tense shows actions that are happening at the present time. The present
continuous tense expresses actions that are ongoing at the present time. The present
perfect tense shows actions that happened and were completed at the present time.
The correct use of the present simple tense helps to be clear and understandable in
communication. The future simple tense is important in expressing actions that are
expected to happen in the future. The future simple tense shows events that are
expected to happen in the future. The future continuous tense expresses actions that
will continue in the future. [1]
The future perfect tense shows actions that are expected to happen in the future
and that have been completed. The correct use of the future simple tense helps to
clearly express planned events in the future. The importance of tenses is important
not only in grammar but also in communication. Through tenses, we can express our
thoughts clearly and clearly. The correct use of tenses in communication helps to
clearly explain an event or action. For example, if you want to tell about your
experience, you should use the past simple tense. If you want to express what is
happening now, you need to choose the present simple tense. When expressing your
future plans, you should use the future simple tense.[2]
Correct use of tenses also increases confidence in communication. If you use
tenses correctly, your thoughts will be more clear and understandable. This, in turn,
helps strengthen relationships with others. Being confident in communication is
important in developing relationships between people. The process of learning tenses
in English is also an important part of language learning. Studying the tenses will help
you to understand the language more deeply. The correct use of tenses allows you to
express your thoughts clearly in the language learning process. This, in turn, makes
the language learning process more interesting and effective.[3]
There are various methods and exercises in the process of learning tenses. For
example, these skills can be developed through written work to learn tenses,
participation in dialogue and various games. Such activities make the language
learning process more interesting and effective. Also, interaction in the process of
studying tenses is important in learning a language. The importance of times is also

related to culture and tradition. Every culture has its own tenses and their usage. For
example, in some cultures the past simple tense is used more often, which shows an
interest in history. In other cultures, the present simple tense is used more often,
reflecting a focus on the present. Therefore, in the process of studying the times, it is
necessary to take into account the culture.[4]
Conclusion:
In conclusion, tenses are very important in English. Through tenses we can
clearly express our thoughts, feelings and events. The correct use of tenses helps to
be clear and understandable in communication. Also, the process of learning tenses is
an important part of language learning. The correct use of tenses plays an important
role in developing relationships and building trust.
