Annotation
This article analyzes the role of modern methodological approaches,
particularly computer linguistics and computer language didactics, in teaching
the Uzbek language. It scientifically explores the possibilities of using
technologies such as electronic dictionaries, language corpora, machine
translation systems, speech recognition and synthesis tools to develop
communicative competence in learners. Additionally, the paper discusses the
implementation of communicative approaches through modern educational
platforms.

Introduction
In the era of globalization and digital technologies, the process of language
learning requires new methodological approaches. In particular, the
development of communicative competence through the use of modern
information and communication technologies in the teaching of the Uzbek
language has become a pressing issue.Communicative competence refers not
only to the grammatical use of a language, but also to the ability to apply it
correctly, meaningfully, and appropriately within a given context. This article
highlights the issue of developing communicative competence in the Uzbek
language through modern methodological approaches and technologies.
Literature review and methods
In recent years, the integration of information and communication
technologies into the education system of Uzbekistan has been actively
developing. In particular, applying the basics of computer linguistics and
computer language didactics in teaching the Uzbek language and expanding
scientific and practical developments in this field has become highly important.
Based on the literature analyzed in this study, computer linguistics is
emerging as a new discipline that bridges linguistics and technology. This field

serves to perform tasks such as automatic text analysis, translation, vocabulary
identification, and speech recognition.
The reviewed sources explore modern methods aimed at developing
students’ communicative competence through electronic dictionaries, language
corpora, machine translation systems, and educational platforms. The research
is mainly based on practical approaches and scientifically substantiates the role
of technology in the educational process.
Results and discussion
The analysis conducted in this study indicates that the integration of
computer technologies into the teaching process significantly contributes to the
development of communicative competence in learners of the Uzbek language.
Tools such as electronic dictionaries, automated translation systems, and
language corpora not only enhance vocabulary acquisition but also allow
learners to see real-world usage of language elements, aiding contextual
understanding.
The use of speech recognition and synthesis tools helps students improve
pronunciation, listening comprehension, and spoken fluency. These technologies
provide immediate feedback and create an interactive learning environment,
which is especially beneficial for mastering communicative skills.
Moreover, educational platforms that incorporate gamification, interactive
tasks, and real-time assessments offer learners a modern, engaging experience
that aligns with their digital lifestyle. As a result, motivation and participation
levels in language classes increase, leading to more effective language
acquisition.
The findings show that applying computer linguistics and computer
language didactics in Uzbek language teaching supports the development of
meaningful, contextually appropriate communication skills. The integration of
these modern technologies and methods bridges the gap between theoretical
knowledge and practical application, making language learning more efficient
and relevant in today’s digital age.
