The article explores the concept of digital educational technologies as a method
for organizing a digital learning environment and as a tool for developing universal skills that
contribute to learners’ future professional and personal growth.
Keywords:
digital technologies; digital educational technologies; possibilities of digital
educational technologies; digital educational resources; digital learning environment.
The modern world is becoming increasingly dependent on digital technologies. Digitalization
is penetrating all areas of human activity, and education is no exception. The traditional
"teacher – student – textbook" model is being supplemented with a new component – a
digital tool, and a new element is emerging in the educational mindset – digital educational
technologies. The purpose of using digital educational technologies is to transition from a
type of learning where students mechanically absorb knowledge, to a type of education where
students learn to independently acquire new knowledge and skills. Pedagogical scholars have
devoted their research to the issues related to the support of education in general education
schools through modern digital educational technologies. For example, in their scientific
studies, K. Isroilov, S. Tursunov, N. Nazarov, and A. Qodirov analyze modern trends in
education and digital educational technologies as effective tools for supporting the
educational process. These technologies are applied not only in general education schools but
also in post-school education. M. Ibrohimov and N. Mamatov focus on studying the
theoretical aspects of modern digital educational technologies in their work. A. Akhmedov
and Z. Sharipov explore modern digital educational technologies as an effective means of
supporting education. At the same time, in our opinion, the positive impact of using digital
educational technologies as a method of creating a digital educational environment has not
been sufficiently analyzed. Therefore, based on the idea of "self-determination – as a form of
professional activity", the integration and development of modern digital educational
technologies into the educational process ensures the implementation of a digital educational
environment.
The novelty of the research results lies in identifying the potential of digital educational
technologies under the conditions of digitalization and substantiating their significance. The
relevance of the scientific research is explained by the broad opportunities for applying
digital educational technologies as a means of creating a digital educational environment and
developing students’ universal skills. The purpose of the research is to examine the potential
of digital educational technologies in effectively organizing the methodological and
informational support of the educational process and in creating a digital educational
environment.
In the modern world, the continuous development of digital technologies is transforming all
aspects of life, opening up new opportunities, and contributing more and more to the
contemporary world. These technologies not only influence everyday life but also reshape
business models, improve communications, and create new possibilities in education,

healthcare, and other fields. They change how people work, communicate, and interact,
creating new opportunities and solving complex problems. Digital technologies are a broad
term that encompasses various technologies that use digital data and algorithms to process
information and automate various tasks.
Digital technologies encompass fields such as computer science, information technology, the
internet, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, website development, mobile
applications, databases, data analysis, machine learning, virtualization, and process
automation. Today, there is no single approach to defining digital technologies.
Analysis and generalization of specialized literature allows for the definition of digital
technologies as a set of specific methods and tools. These technologies serve the particular
needs of the user, enabling the acquisition, collection, processing, storage, transmission,
presentation, and utilization of data. This process is based on electronic systems.
Digital technologies are hardware and software used to create, store, transmit, process, and
display information and data. In other words, they are the driving force of the digital age.
These technologies enhance communication: digital technologies allow people to connect
almost instantaneously across the globe. Email, messengers, social networks, and video
conferences serve as means for communication at any time. Additionally, digital technologies
make it easier and more convenient to access information. They provide opportunities for
searching data via the internet, reading news articles, watching online videos, and learning
new topics through online courses. Digital tools and software automate repetitive tasks,
simplify work processes, and increase productivity. Furthermore, they enable collaboration
and data exchange in real-time. Moreover, digital technologies contribute to improving
security by protecting personal data and information.
Undoubtedly, digital technologies are a powerful tool for bringing about changes in the field
of education.
Digital educational technologies are methods of enhancing the educational process and
organizing a digital learning environment through the use of digital tools and resources. They
include various tools, software, and online resources that improve the convenience, efficiency,
and quality of education. Digital educational technologies provide quick and easy access to
diverse information sources, which helps enrich and expand the materials used in the learning
process. Furthermore, they create opportunities for interactive learning. The use of
multimedia elements, interactive tasks, online tests, and game elements increases student
engagement and helps deepen their understanding of the material. Digital educational
technologies allow for remote communication and collaboration between teachers and
students. This is particularly relevant in distance learning or when sharing information and
materials between different educational institutions. Tools such as online forums, video
conferences, and collaborative document editing ensure effective collaboration among
participants in the educational process. Additionally, digital educational technologies enable
the personalization of learning. They allow for the provision of individual learning materials
and tasks based on students' needs and abilities. Automated assessment systems and machine
learning algorithms help determine students' knowledge levels and recommend appropriate
educational resources. Moreover, digital educational technologies allow for the collection and
analysis of data regarding students' performance and learning progress. This enables teachers
to assess the effectiveness of teaching methods, identify shortcomings in the learning process,
and make informed decisions to improve the quality of education.

Analysis of scientific knowledge and practical experience has shown that there is a strong
connection between digital educational technologies and digital educational resources. The
use of digital educational technologies includes the following digital educational resources:
Electronic textbooks and online resources allow students to access information flexibly and at
a time that is convenient for them.
Educational videos and audio materials provide interactive and visual learning. These
materials include lectures, demonstrations, and interviews.
Interactive tasks and tests, created on digital platforms, encourage active participation from
students and provide teachers with the opportunity to receive instant feedback.
Distance education and electronic classrooms facilitate virtual communication between
students and teachers, which is especially important for learning in remote education or areas
with low population density.
Virtual and augmented reality technologies help create immersive learning experiences. They
enable the visualization of complex processes, conduct virtual exercises, and facilitate the
development of practical skills.
Digital educational technologies and resources transform the learning environment into an
effective, student-centered digital learning space, making the educational process more
interactive and innovative.
In conclusion, based on the above points, it can be emphasized that digital educational
technologies provide students with the opportunity to work quickly and conveniently with
electronic resources, libraries, and databases. Modern learning platforms and electronic
courses, multimedia, and interactive learning materials ease the learning process and increase
interest in studying. Furthermore, digital educational technologies enable students to develop
social skills, such as communication and collaboration in an online environment, and are also
used for creating projects, which helps develop students' creative abilities.
