глаголам. Модальные глаголы выражают такие вещи, как: необходимость,
возможность, разрешение, обязательство и предложение. Некоторые учащиеся
испытывают трудности при изучении и различении их. Эта статья объяснит и
прояснит модальные глаголы, разъяснив их различные функции и предоставив
практические и эффективные примеры, чтобы помочь учителям ученикам
уверенно их использовать.
Ключевые слова:

Introduction:
Initially, before providing teaching strategies, it is suggested for teachers to give
brief explanations about modal verbs. Teachers may use visual aids to demonstrate the
presentation with this topic, so each student would read. The explanation goes like this:
Modal verbs are auxiliary (helping) verbs that represent the meaning of a main verb.
They do not have past, present and future tenses compared to other verbs. Additionally,
they always come without the infinitive to, before a main verb. After explaining them,
teacher are supposed to ask what kinds of modal verbs they know. As soon as they ask
their students, educators might show different types of modal verbs:
Here are some of the most common modal verbs:
• can, could - for abilities or permission
Example: I can speak four languages; Or Can I borrow it?
• will, would - for future actions
Example: I will do it tomorrow; Or I would do my homework after hours
