Fairy tale therapy is a method of
psychology that uses fairy tales to correct
education, behavior, prevent psychological
deviations, help psychologically and
psychotherapeutic, and solve problems in
other areas.
Fairy tales are works of art and
literature, and at the same time are a source
of information for the people in many
theoretical and practical fields. They are
considered the wealth of folk pedagogy. In
addition, we can include fairy tales among
pedagogical works so that they have
pedagogical ideas. As you know, the
Russian classical pedagogue Ushinsky was
a harmonious personality of ideal, perfect
mental and moral-aesthetic development in
the pedagogical sphere. According to the
firm conviction of the Great Russian
educator, this task can be successfully
solved if the material of folk tales is used in
education in a wide range. Thanks to fairy
tales, a beautiful poetic image develops in
the heart of a child with a logical mind
together, and we can witness the
development of word-logic thinking,
fantasy, emotional sphere. Ushinsky
studied at a wider level the issue of the
pedagogical content of fairy tales and their
psychological impact on the child. He saw
folk tales as preferable to stories published
in educational literature intended for
children, as the stories had been
condemned by the great educator: as if an
old man had turned his face into the face of
a young child, as a fake.
Fairy
tales
are
an
important
educational tool developed and tested by
the people for centuries. In life, in the
practice
of
human
education,
the
magnitude of the pedagogical significance
of the fairy tale was proven on the basis of
evidence. Children and fairy tales are
inseparable from each other, they are
created for each other, so it is imperative
that each nation's acquaintance with the
fairy tales of its people is included in the
educational and educational process of the
child. In Uzbek pedagogy, there are
thoughts about fairy tales not only about
educational material, but also about the
pedagogical tool, methodality. Realizing
the meaning of a fairy tale as a pedagogical
tool, it should be recognized that even if we
repeat the same moral qualities to children
at least a thousand times, it is still
incomprehensible to them that the meaning
does not become understood; but if you tell
them a fairy tale embedded in the same
thought, the child will be excited and
amazed at this. The educational role of

fairy tales in educators is considered great.
There is an opinion that the pedagogical
significance of fairy tales affects the
emotional and aesthetic side of a person,
and not the mental side. This view is not
entirely acceptable. It is fundamentally
wrong to contrast mental activity with
emotions: the emotional sphere and mental
activity are inseparable, without emotions,
it is impossible to know the truth. Fairy
tales are often thought of by their subject
and content, encouraging thought. Often
the child comes to the conclusion that "this
does not happen in life" as a result of
hearing fairy tales. Involuntarily the
question
arises: "What happens
in
life?"The conversation of the narrator with
the child, which includes the answer to this
question, is carried out in a conscious state.
But fairy tales contain directly conscious
information. It should be noted that the
conscious content of fairy tales concerns
individual details of folk customs and
traditions, in particular, even the daily
household sphere.
Of course, the educational content of
fairy tales also depends on the narrator.
Skilled storytellers usually shape thinking
in a child with the help of questions, always
trying to make the most of the opportunity.
For example, after a fairy tale was told and
broadcast: "What do you guys think, what
kind of animal was in our fairy tale? Can
you
remember
the
names
of
the
monsters?"and through similar questions it
will be possible to develop contemplation
in children. Children learn to understand
the correct understanding of the content of
events, deeds and actions earlier, that truths
are hidden under any funny events in life.
Each fairy tale has the moral qualities
necessary for a child, because he must
determine his place in life, learn the norms
of moral and moral behavior in society.
Philosophers study a fairy tale and reveal
its meaning as forms of the spiritual
experience of mankind. Philologists, first
of all, folklorists, think that "a fairy tale is
a dress of the unforgettable spirit of the
people."
The subject of the tale has been an
object of continuous debate and debate
throughout the history of the development
of psychology as an independent field of
science. It has long been recognized by
psychologists that fairy tales are simple at
first glance, but that there is an educational,
developmental,
psychodiagnostic,
psychocorrectional,
psychotherapeutic
feature hidden behind wonderful stories.
However, even today it cannot be said that
it is in high demand, which is explained by
its essence, scale and uncertainty of the
solution of the question in its theoretical
plans.
The educational significance of fairy
tales is very great. There is an opinion that
the
pedagogical
and
psychological
significance of fairy tales belongs not to
cognitive processes, but to emotional and
aesthetic aspects. This point cannot be said
to be true. The idea that cognitive activity
is opposite to emotions is completely
wrong: the emotional sphere and cognitive
activity are inseparable, without emotions,
it is impossible to know the truth, as we
know it.

In conclusion, when we say that fairy
tales can cause a child's spiritual and moral
growth, the development of creativity and
imagination,
an
increase
in
their
understanding of the world, an expansion
of the level of thinking, an increase in self-
confidence, and, among other things, the
destruction of inappropriate fears that lie
inside. An important role is played in
increasing the child's speech as well as the
ability to think logically. Fairy tales teach
the child to understand their feelings and
express empathy for the feelings of others.
Thus, fairy tales serve as an important tool
in shaping the whole worldview of a child,
preparing him for life in the future. In
general, fairy tales serve as an important
pedagogical tool not only to help children
understand the world, but also to prepare
them for real life.
