ABSTRACT
This article presents problems related to the definition of philosophical terms in an explanatory dictionary and their
analysis, and discusses the issue of their lexicographic improvement.

INTRODUCTION
The process of globalization, which is raging all over
the world, does not remain without its influence on a
particular society, its language and lexicon. Including
the strong relations of Uzbekistan with the countries
of the whole world, the great reforms and changes
carried out in all spheres of our society are manifested
in the Uzbek language, especially in its lexicon.

Dictionary of the Uzbek language has become one of
the most important works in linguistics. G. Leibniz is
more convenient to arrange in alphabetical order so
that words can be “used by citizens” about the order
of placement in the dictionary, for “philosophical
intelligence” (owners) it is better to place them “in
meaning”.[1] explanatory dictionaries show example

of modern literary norms of the use of words, be an
instruction
that
contributes
to
the
correct
understanding of the essence of works written in the
national language, reflect the general condition of the
lexicon of the modern literary language, the lexicon of
the modern literary language should fully and
adequately represent its semantic system.[2] in the
Explanatory Dictionary of the Uzbek language, special
attention is paid to the evolutionary disclosure of the
system of meanings of multi-meaning words, the role
of application and scope of use of each meaning, the
coverage of meanings, meaning ottenkas and their
various functions in the lexicographic plan.[3]
The work of creating a dictionary in general is
considered a rather complicated process and requires
its own responsibility. To date, explanatory dictionaries
have been created twice, which indicate a large volume
of vocabulary of the Uzbek language, the norms of the
literary language of the language, the state of
application of the Uzbek language.
The “Explanatory
Dictionary of the Uzbek language”, created in 1981,
was published for the first time in the history of Uzbek
linguistics and consists of two roofs. Unlike it, the 5-
volume Explanatory Dictionary of the Uzbek language,
which is published quite complete and edited, also
serves as an invaluable resource for a wide audience of
users on the Uzbek language. These dictionaries are a
valuable material not only for language users, but also
for the field of linguistics. Because the creation of such
a large lexicographic resource in Uzbek vocabulary was
a kind of breakthrough in dictionary science. After the
independence of our state, great attention began to be
paid to the field of lexicography, and as a result, it
created the need to compile an excellent multi-volume
Explanatory Dictionary. As a result, in 2008, a 5-volume
Explanatory Dictionary of the Uzbek language was
created.
In connection with the immeasurable development of
industry, agriculture, science, technology and culture
in Uzbekistan, new economic reforms in our country
and the development of market Relations, a lot of new
words and terms have appeared in the vocabulary of
the Uzbek language. The meaning of many words has
changed, expanded, the meaning of some words has
become more clear, differentiated among themselves.
Almost all of this is expressed in a five-volume
dictionary. The direct connection of language with the
life of society, first of all, finds its expression in its
lexical system. Any scientific and technological
progress in society is regularly reflected in the lexical

terminology. Terms-scientific and technical process,
specialized units that reflect knowledge related to
various fields of science. In the field of Science and
technology, terms occupy a special place in the naming
and statement of scientific concepts, no branch of
science can be imagined without Terms.
In World linguistics, terminology has developed rapidly
as a blood drop of each branch of science. The period
shows that terminographic research is of great
importance in the systemic formation of the
terminosystem. Explanatory dictionaries indicating the
terminological systems of a particular language, as well
as the general wealth of the language, are considered
the largest applied research in this regard for any
linguistics.
• Significant achievements in Uzbek linguistics have
been achieved in this matter. But given the fact that
the language evolves in a way related to social life, the
improvement of the work of creating dictionaries, the
enrichment and updating of the vocabulary base
remain relevant. Already “” each of us should consider
the focus on the state language as a focus on
independence, respect and loyalty to the state
language, respect and devotion to the native land,
making such a view a rule of our lives " [4] as the main
source of acquisition of sectoral knowledge increases
the need for research on terminology.

When analyzing the existing philosophical terms in the
Explanatory Dictionary of the Uzbek language, it
turned out that there are also many controversial,
controversial situations. For example, the fact that
many philosophical terms, such as abad, absolutism,
absolutism, abstract, cited in the Book Of Fire, are
terms, is not expressed through special pomets. Also

The relevance and novelty of the study is determined
by the need to determine the semantic features of the
philosophical term of the period under study, which
provides a scientific basis for the linguistic description
of the philosophical terminological system of its
philosophical
text.
Despite
the
significant
achievements of modern terminology, in the linguistic
study of the philosophical term as a whole and the
philosophical term of the period described in
particular, there are many unresolved and even
unpopular problems for discussion: philosophical
terms in general and the terms of philosophy of the
period under study are characterized by the presence
of a number of distinctive features.
The complexity of the semantic structure of meaning
in some cases determines the presence of several
general identifiers: this phenomenon is especially
characteristic of terms that are the main part of the
terminological system of a particular author. The
question of the semantic ambiguity of the
philosophical term is removed within the framework of
a certain system of philosophical terms: the term may
be ambiguous as part of the "large" system of terms of
philosophy, but this term refers to a certain

philosophical current and philosophical term. the
system of a particular thinker determines its relative
uncertainty, which is unambiguous within the
framework of the term system.
The correlation of terms with the worldview of a
particular thinker makes it possible to talk about the
author's philosophical term systems, the study and
lexicographic description of which constitute an
important function of modern terminology. The
author's terminological systems formed on the basis of
theories created by the authors include, for example,
terminological systems: the most characteristic for the
philosophy of the beginning of the 20th century is the
revision of philosophical terms, which performs a
special discursive function in the text of a particular
philosopher, which means a new "quantum" of
philosophical knowledge. In this, philosophers give
their subjective definition of the term and use this
linguistic sign in a purely individual sense. The
information obtained serves as a scientific and
methodological basis for further analysis of the
specifics of the author's philosophical terminology
systems, as well as for the development of the
principles of lexicographic description of the author's
philosophical terminology.
CONCLUSION
The study of the terminology of all areas in general as
a holistic research work serves to serve the
development of the language as well as the in-depth
study of that area, the improvement of its education.
