ABSTRACT
The article clearly shows what indicators to rely on in assessing the level of poverty in our country and ways to reduce
it. It also considers the organizational and economic mechanisms and directions of poverty reduction. About twenty
recommendations have been made to reduce it.

INTRODUCTION
Today, the fight against poverty is one of the most
urgent issues in our country. If a person is poor, he will
not be able to travel to the city to see a doctor, buy
medicines, pay for laboratory tests and other
diagnostic tests. What should be done in such
situations?! Is there any way to fix this? If a person
belongs to a poor family, his child may be deprived of
the opportunity to get an education in this specialty,
because most of such studies are paid and are carried
out on a contract basis. This situation has a negative
impact on the level of his future income. Because the
"match" between qualified and unskilled cocktails is

different. Such a population is harmful not only to the
population, but also to the society. Due to the fact that
the fight against poverty is a global issue, the UN
General Assembly announced the decades of the fight
against poverty and related activities are being carried
out. The first ten years spanned 1998-2007, while the
second ten years spanned 2008-2017. Now the
Resolution covering the years 2018-2027 for the third
decade was adopted. In this Resolution, while the level
of results achieved in the previous decade has been
exceeded, it is aimed at improving the fight against
poverty and implementing effective and coordinated
tasks to strengthen it. Based on this, many countries
have developed plans to completely avoid poverty. In
particular, countries such as China, Pakistan, and
Bangladesh have developed a plan to completely
eliminate poverty in this short period of time and are
successfully implementing it. Therefore, the President
of our country has adopted a number of decrees and
decisions regarding the implementation of appropriate
measures for the elimination of poverty, and has been
giving relevant demonstrations on the development of
state and regional programs for their implementation.
After all, a person who cannot live decently in life will
never be satisfied with the state and even today.
Taking these into account, four important documents
have been developed in our country. These are:
"Concept of Socio-Economic Development of the
Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030", "Industrial
Development Strategy", "Poverty Reduction Program"
and starting from 2021, it is envisaged that the
consumption basket and minimum amounts necessary
for livelihood will be implemented in all regions. Apart
from these, many measures aimed at reducing poverty
are being implemented. In particular, in order to ensure
the implementation of the Decree No. PF-5975 of the
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March
26, 2020 "On Measures to Fundamentally Update State
Policy on Economic Development and Poverty
Alleviation" and the Decree of the President of the
Republic of Uzbekistan on March 26, 2020 "Economic
Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and the
decisions on organizing the activities of the Ministry of
Poverty Alleviation and its system organizations were
accepted. In these documents, a system of
implementing an acceptable state policy to reduce
poverty in the country by conducting an effective
macroeconomic policy, ensuring sustainable economic
growth, and improving the business environment was
developed and is being successfully implemented.
However, there are some theoretical, methodological
and practical problems of the issue, which require the
development of appropriate conclusions and scientific
recommendations after researching it. Decree No. PF-
5975 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan
dated March 26, 2020 "On measures to radically update
the state policy on economic development and poverty
reduction" states: "improving the living standards and
quality of the population in the territories, in particular,
the tasks of reducing poverty, in many ways, all sectors

of the economy "It is directly related to the creation of
new and sustainable workplaces, as well as creating
fundamental conditions for the development of
entrepreneurship," it was noted. This, in turn, requires
the implementation of a system based on modern and
innovative principles, based on the rapid identification
and elimination of existing problems and obstacles, to
ensure the appropriateness of the activities of
ministries and agencies related to the structural reform
and development of the economy, to increase the
responsibility of each official. Based on this necessity,
several priority tasks have been defined in the above
decree. One of these priority tasks was to create "an
integrated system and coordinating state div,
regulatory framework, criteria and evaluation
methodology
for
the
development
and
implementation of measures aimed at reducing
poverty" (Farmon, 2020). Because it is true that
poverty exists in our country, but the burden of the
relevant
organizational,
economic,
and
legal
mechanisms to reduce it requires special attention to
be paid to this issue. On February 27, 2020, under the
chairmanship of the President of the Republic of
Uzbekistan, statistics on the level of poverty in our
country were presented at the meeting of the video
selector on measures aimed at reducing poverty
through the development of entrepreneurship.
"According to preliminary calculations, 12-15 percent or
4-5 million of our population the poor. This means that
their daily income does not exceed 10-13 thousand
soums. Or a family may own a car and livestock, but if
one person is seriously ill, at least 70 percent of the
family's income goes to his treatment.
RESULT AND DISCUSSION
In short, the issue of reducing poverty in our country is
very urgent today, and there are many related
problems and their solutions. Identifying and resolving
these issues is not the work of official ministries or local
authorities, but the work of every family and individual.
Every person should ask himself the question, "What
should I wear so that I don't become poor?", and first
of all, he should search for the answer.
CONCLUSION
It is our duty to our nation, our people, to respond to
such requests by the local authorities, if they use all
their capabilities. If the responsibility is not
comprehensive, the expected success will not be
achieved.
