ABSTRACT
This article provides information about the activities of Mamlakat Sodikova, who is a business woman from Bukhara.

INTRODUCTION
The attention and care paid to women in our country
today is commendable. All conditions have been
created for women living in our country. As a practical
proof of the high respect and care for women in our
country, more than 80 national and international
documents have been adopted for strengthening the
role and influence of women in society, protecting
their legal, social, economic and spiritual interests in
recent years. In fact, this aspect has risen to the level
of public policy, with 1999 being declared the Year of
Women, 2001 the Year of Mother and Child, and 2016
the Year of Healthy Mothers and Healthy Children. In
1995, Uzbekistan became the first country in Central
Asia to ratify the Convention on the Elimination of All
Forms of Discrimination against Women and to
implement its criteria[1]. In this regard, it should be
noted that the International Children's Fund (UNICEF)
Office for Eastern Europe, the Baltic States and the
Commonwealth of Independent States has recognized

and childhood. Encouraged by such care, our women
are trying to make a greater contribution to the
development of Uzbekistan. Today, our women have
the opportunity to practice freely in all spheres. Our
women have the right to work in all spheres, whether
it
is
education,
industry,
politics,
society,
entrepreneurship or farming. In short, it is no
exaggeration to say that our country is a country
where women are valued. Today, women are selflessly
working in all sectors of the economy, as well as in
science and education, in the economic sphere.
MAIN PART
Mamlakat Sodiqova, one of the most active women
entrepreneurs in Bukhara, is known as an entrepreneur
for the prosperity of the people and the country.
Mamlakat Sodikova, a courageous and competitive
entrepreneur from New Uzbekistan, was born on
January 1, 1979 in Vobkent district of Bukhara region in
an educated family. Mamlakat Sodiqova was the sixth
child in the family, and the youngest daughter of the
family grew up to be naughty when her parents
thought she had chosen a quiet way of life like her
siblings. Mamlakat was so zealous from her young age.
She made her own plans, stood out from her peers
with his organizational skills, and thought like an adult
since childhood[2]. Her school days coincided with the
first years of independence, and our hero, who truly
experienced the hardships and the first stages of a new
era, correctly understood the value of education and
carefully studied the secrets of entrepreneurship.
After graduating from high school, Mamlakat Sodiqova
began her career as a child-minder at Kindergarten No.
58 in Vobkent District. From 2000 to 2001, she worked
as a child-minder in a short period.
After choosing the specialty of an economist-
accountant in Bukhara State University, Mamlakat
Sodikova decided to start a business because of her
family abundance.
Entrepreneurship has become a challenge, and while
one of those who has tried to be fortunate, Mamlakat
Sadykova has ventured into entrepreneurship at a time
when many are defaulters. She knew that no matter
how her career ended, she would work hard[3].
After starting a business and raising a good
investment, she rented an abandoned building. She
began the process of sorting, storage and processing
of agricultural products and fruits. In 2004, she
founded “Zamin Meva Sakhovati” Limited Liability
Company, which is a system of collection, storage,
sorting and delivery of fruits and vegetables. Mamlakat
Sodiqova gradually started her own business. After
personally visiting more than 20 organizations of the
republic working in this field, seeing the real situation
with his own eyes and gaining experience, she bought
refrigerators for long-term storage of 400 and 450 tons
of agricultural products with a loan of 1.2 billion soums
from the Sardor branch of Ipoteka Bank [2]. The work
of the entrepreneur, who initially employed only 2
people, has been developing day by day and has set
itself the goal of expanding the activities of the
business entity in all directions.
In 2004-2008, the limited liability company "Zamin
Meva Sakhovati" grew in all directions. In particular,
new modern refrigerated warehouses have been
purchased. The purchasing of refrigerators not only
helped to maintain the quality of stored products, but
also created new vacancies. She began to work with
many regions of the country. The woman, who has
both a job and a family, studied at the same time as an
accountant-economist. After gaining knowledge and

experience from the result of research and
development in this field, she began to export the
product abroad [2]. Exports of fruit products to Central
Asian countries, Iran, Turkey and other neighboring
countries have been expanded.
It would be not mistake to say that the lack of open and
wide opportunities for entrepreneurship, as well as the
lack of transportation and logistics centers was the
main difficulty at that period in our economy.
In the 2000s, various laws and other legal acts were
passed to ensure that the role of women in public
administration, active participation in the economy,
their legal protection, and to live and work in the
conditions typical of developed countries [4]. This was
a vital necessity for our women entrepreneurs, who
are engaged in entrepreneurship like Mamlakatxon.
In 2010, the country began to take measures to
modernize the economy, create a favorable business
environment, stimulate the growth of domestic
investment,
accelerate
the
development
of
handicrafts, manufacturing, small business and private
entrepreneurship.
In 2008, Mamlakat Sodiqova further improved “Zamin
Meva Saxovati LLC” and expanded it to “Zamin Madad
Tayorlov Savdo LLC”.
In 2013-2017, new refrigerated warehouses were
imported from Germany on credit of a limited liability
company, and 12 people were employed permanently
and 8 people were employed seasonally [5]. Working
in a rented building is like living in a relative's house.
The business woman told the regional administration
that she needed a special building to expand her
business. Land was soon allocated for the building, and
in six years the factory building was completed.
Unlike many other entrepreneurs, Mamlakat Sadikova
did not waste her earnings to build luxury homes and
cars, on the contrary she decided to use the money to
develop and expand her business.
Anyone who works will definitely see the results.
Mamlakat Sodikova won the nomination "Woman of
the Year in the industry" at the republican stage of the
national contest "Woman of the Year" in 2017, and a
year later, the nomination "Best project in small
business" in the contest "One Hundred Best Projects of
Women in Uzbekistan". In the same year, she won first
place in the republican competitions "Pomegranate
2018" and "Business Woman 2018"[6].
Rich in innovative ideas, M. Sodiqova has promoted
the technology of mulberry fruit jam and dried on the
basis of fruit storage, allowing it to be stored without
losing any of its 39 nutrients [7].
Sister Mamlakat, who likes to call herself the "Happy
Business Woman of Uzbekistan", is always researching
new innovative projects [3], writes D. Ibragimova.
Mamlakat Sodiqova presented her products at the
Turkmenistan-Uzbekistan Business Forum on July 16,
2018 in Turkmenistan. This forum introduced the
activities of Zamin Madad Tayorlov Savdo LLC to the
whole of Central Asia. In the same year, she was
awarded a certificate of honor and appreciation of the
Association of Women Entrepreneurs of the Republic
of Uzbekistan, and Deputy Chairman of the Bukhara
regional branch of the Association of Women
Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Uzbekistan
Appointed Deputy Chairman of the Council for
Women's Affairs.
In recent years, the activity of women entrepreneurs
has developed and started to work on a large scale. As
a result of continuous research and hard work, she was

recognized as the "Best Employer" at a festive event in
Tashkent on November 11, 2021 on the occasion of
"Trade Union Day" and was awarded a diploma of 3rd
degree and a gift from the President of the Republic of
Uzbekistan. was awarded car “Spark”.
The business woman was also awarded the 2021 Medal
of Honor, recognized as the absolute winner of the
competition "The best project in the field of cooling
and air conditioning" among women, organized under
the auspices of the United Nations Development
Program (UNDP) [2].
CONCLUSION
Mamlakat Sodiqova is currently working on a new
innovative project to introduce modern technologies
for home-based employment of women through the
cultivation and processing of agricultural products. If
the project is launched, another 100 women will be
employed in Shafirkan and Vobkent districts of
Bukhara region. So, in this article, we have briefly
thought about the only business woman from Bukhara.
However, over the years of independence, hundreds of
women entrepreneurs have emerged from Bukhara
and have been making a worthy contribution to the
economic growth of the country.
