Abstract

In "Echoes of Conflict: Understanding the Resurgence of Militancy in Nigeria's Niger Delta," this paper explores the complex dynamics behind the reemergence of militancy in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. The study delves into historical grievances, socio-economic disparities, and political marginalization as key factors contributing to the resurgence of militant activities. Drawing on a range of sources, including academic research, news reports, and governmental publications, the paper analyzes the root causes and implications of this resurgence. By examining the historical context and contemporary realities, the study seeks to provide insights into the underlying dynamics of conflict in the Niger Delta and offers potential avenues for addressing the challenges posed by militant activities in the region.
