The article deals with a wide range of problems related to the study of the history of light industry in the Fergana Valley. The issues of developing targeted integrated programs for solving intersectoral and regional problems of national economy planning are highlighted.

During the years of independence in the New Uzbekistan, the field of physical culture and sports has become a priority at the level of state policy.The development of physical culture and sports is the result of effective political, economic and social reforms in our country.Over the past six years, more than 30 new normative and legal acts have been adopted in the country on the current priority of comprehensive development of the country through physical culture and sports, and its goals have been analyzed and revealed.

This article discusses information from archival sources about the evacuation of the population to Uzbekistan during World War II. These materials, to a certain extent, relate to the theme of war, and therefore require an analytical approach and familiarization with many archival documents. However, in the National Archives of Uzbekistan, special funds have been organized, entirely dedicated to the collection of materials on the situation in the region during the war period, including on the evacuation of the population to the territory of the republic.

The article analyzes scientific collections, monographs and numerous articles on the history of cities. At the beginning of the century, effective work was carried out on the study of ancient cities. However, to date, the historiography of the subject has been little studied. Existing scientific views, approaches and conclusions on the problem of historical patterns of formation and development of cities in Bactria, Sogd, Khorezm, Tashkent oasis and Fergana, the main results of the study of ancient urbanization in Uzbekistan are not sufficiently analyzed and available data are not summarized.

The ideas and aesthetics of paintings, installations, video art in the work of individual artists are revealed in detail.

The article provides information on the activities of the Turkestan Congress of Soviets that determined the main milestones in the socio-economic development of the Turkestan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic from 1917 to 1924.
