Pedagogical Feature of Introducing Students to Knowledge of
Instrumental Performance

INTRODUCTION
Today, all areas of our Republic have become a field of
deep reform. These reforms are also widely implemented
in the educational system, which is considered the basis of
the social sphere. In recent years, the emphasis has been
placed on the organization of all stages of the educational
system on the basis of modern requirements, in particular,
on the education of students-young people in the spirit of
national and universal values even in general secondary
schools. Our President Sh.M. Mirziyoyev In his speech
said: "the more educated our children come out of school,
the faster the sectors of high-tech-based economies
develop, the more social problems are possible to solve.
Therefore, if I say that the threshold of a new Uzbekistan
begins with school, I think that our whole people will
support this opinion”[1].
All the reforms carried out in the field of education are
aimed at maturing the younger generation in our society,
which has intellectual potential, is healthy-minded,
spiritually and physically competent, and can see far. The
role of musical knowledge in the upbringing of the younger
generation in such a spirit is of great importance.
METHODOLOGY
A number of good deeds are carried out on the basis of the
spiritual life of our people, national values, many years of
traditions and achievements of our nation, as well as the
teacher-disciple traditions to treat our national musical
heritage with high respect, to study it deeply, to promote it
widely, and to convey it in a worthy way to future
generations. Teaching our rich cultural heritage to the
growing younger generation and instilling our national
values is one of the pressing issues in our country's
continuing education system as well. At the same time,
teaching students the art of national classical music and
Instrumental Performance is a key factor in shaping the

This article covers the pedagogical features of the process of introducing students to the knowledge of Instrumental Performance,
the need to acquaint students with the knowledge of the Instrumental Performance of the Uzbek musical art, which has been
studied for many centuries, having been polished and passed from teacher to student as a tradition, and thereby expanding the
educational capabilities of students.

spirituality and cultural awareness of the younger
generation. It is in this regard that a priority place is
allocated in the decision of the president of the Republic of
Uzbekistan on November 17, 2017 PQ-3391, “on measures
to further develop the art of Uzbek national status”[2].
Also, the decision of the president of the Republic of
Uzbekistan No. 02.02.2022 PQ-112 also focuses on
increasing the level of cultural recreation services to
residents, especially in remote areas, seeking and
supporting talented young creators in culture and art,
providing
educational
institutions
with
National
Instruments, and producing knowledge and skills inherent
in the performance of the instrument under the slogan
“accompany my life [3].
In particular, in the educational processes of music lessons
of general secondary schools, it is important to acquaint
students with the knowledge of the Instrumental
Performance of the Uzbek musical art, which has been
studied since many centuries of our people, passing from
teacher to disciple as a tradition, and thereby finding a
spiritual worldview in students. In ensuring the
implementation of this decision, the following tasks should
be carried out by specialists in the field of musical art in
order to establish the training of students of general
secondary educational institutions in the skills of
performing National Instruments:
- strengthening the provision of secondary schools with
specialist teachers in national music;
- creation of additional national music guides based on the
requirements of the times for students of secondary
schools;
- introduction to the basics of primary national music and
status History, Theory and culture; - expand selection and
education of gifted students with musical abilities;
- a certain national type of instrument according to their
interests in students as well as the formation of a
performing skill in singing.
It is known that the role of Instrumental Performance in the
art of music is incomparable. In its place, one of its types
regarding the performance of an instrument of importance
in the organ is the performance of a percussion instrument.
The gjijjak sozi is considered one of the common
instruments among the peoples of the near and Middle
East. In the regions of Badakhshan and Pamir – “zhigak”,
in the territory of Uzbekistan it is expressed in the style of
a g‘ijjak or g‘ichchak. The Zamir of these terms reflects
content such as the playing of the instrument with a bow,
the appearance of a means of expression that looks like a
buzzing when a bow is moved over a string. In the sounds
of the g‘ijjak sound, most expressive means in the human
voice can be played, especially in the sound of the surnay.
It is in these aspects that the role of the fiddle as a solo
instrument, its importance in ensemble performance, is
incomparable. By teaching school children the knowledge
of the performance of this g‘ijjak instrument, in addition to
the content of artistic-aesthetic taste, broad worldview,
concepts of imagination and performance skills, it also
serves to form in them a sense of goodwill towards the
study of our national-musical cultural heritage.
Creative ability
. Instrumental Performance is not only a
means of performing musical works, but also of expressing
one's own emotions through this art, forming aesthetic
taste, developing the skills of independent creativity [4].
By introducing students to the Blims of Instrumental
Performance, the following adjectives are composed:

the reader's attention and memory will be
strengthened;

the ability to perceive musical elements such as
rhythm, sound, shape increases;
-
positive qualities such as discipline, consistency,
hard work are brought up.
It is possible to enrich their aesthetic world by introducing
students to the knowledge of instrument performance,
forming certain concepts about theoretical knowledge of
instrument performance, performance skills, performance
techniques and rhythmic characteristics [6]. Teaching
schoolchildren the performance of a fiddle instrument
helps them to understand the structure of musical samples,
the essence of its content, as well as to perceive it. Another
peculiarity of the study of knowledge about the Performing
Arts of the gjijjak instrument is that teachers who created
tirelessly on the path of this art, as well as students who
grew up under their educational influence, in a word, the
study of the teacher-disciple traditions is the realization of
the values of this Performing Art, through which
individuals teach As a result of teaching students the
knowledge of this art form, certain concepts of the values,
traditions of the Uzbek people are formed. Therefore, by
developing our musical art in a way unique to our national

traditions and values, the feeling of respect for cultural
values increases as a result of preserving the centuries-old
rich cultural heritage of our people in its original way,
promoting it in a deep learning circle and deeply
immersing it in the minds of young people [5].

In Instrumental Performance, as in all aspects of
the arts, we have a huge legacy of knowledge inherent in
the performance of the fiddle. Music lessons of general
secondary schools are important in educational processes
to introduce students from our national instruments with
knowledge inherent in the performance of the fiddle, and
to develop their aesthetic worldview by generating certain
skills in students in this regard. The following should be
based on the teaching of the performance of the fiddle to
schoolchildren:
- to give readers a wide range of insights into the history
and theory of fiddle performance from our National
Instruments;
- teaching students the teacher-disciple traditions in the
performance of the fiddle instrument;
- a valuable approach in teaching the performance of a
fiddle instrument in students is like following a prinspi.
Methods and techniques of our research
. In delivering
the artistic and ideological content of our national music to
the audience, in expressing the character of the musical
work, the fidget instrument, which has its own
incomparable melody, moans and evils, is important in
Uzbek musical art. It is possible to develop the ability to
aesthetically perceive musical works in them by helping
students to master the rhythmic structure of the
composition of musical works, the specific methods of
performance in it, to transform the initial knowledge
learned on a percussion instrument into skills. At the same
time, it is important in the nobility to generate wider
knowledge and understanding in readers about the wound
of the gijjak. The reason is that when mastering the
performance methods of the melody, it is necessary to
initially form in students the initial knowledge and
concepts of the performance of the gijjak instrument.
Instrumental Performance is a practical vision of the art of
music and plays an important role in shaping the aesthetic
taste, musical thinking and creative potential of students.
By teaching instruments in music schools and general
education institutions, not only technical skills are
mastered, but also cultural and spiritual values. The role of
an educator in this process is incomparable. Therefore,
when introducing students to knowledge of Instrumental
Performance, it is necessary to take into account certain
pedagogical features
RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
In today's era of globalization, music, aesthetic education
are becoming more and more widespread in our cultural
life. Accordingly, serious attention is paid to the
development of musical art in our country, the wide
involvement of young people in it, through which they are
brought up as aesthetically and spiritually competent
people. For each of us, such as Uzbek national instruments,
our national language, our national traditions, our
traditions. Therefore, we need to learn it, teach it to young
people, make the science of music more rich and improve.
The sacred duty of every citizen who lives on the soil of
this land, who considers himself the child of this land, is to
fertilize, oppress and convey to generations what is
valuable to the people, the nation.
Introducing students to our National Instruments,
information about the history of their creation, telling about
the life activities of skillful, prominent performers of
instruments and those same performers, telling about the
specific structure, tuning, performance characteristics,
applicability of each instrument, the character of the songs
performed on them, their compatibility with the
instrument, serves as a key factor in increasing our national
culture, values.
The process of introducing students to the knowledge of
Instrumental Performance is focused on a specific goal,
according to their interests and abilities, Instrumental
Performance (types) training is organized based on specific
educational tasks. In this place, the main focus is on
teaching students to form their creative abilities,
understand and achieve beauty in art, master the skills and
techniques of playing the instrument, and to introduce
composers-musicians, skillful instrumentalists to the
works of composers of Uzbek, fraternal peoples in culture
and art.
CONCLUSION
Introducing students to the knowledge of Instrumental
Performance allows them to learn to hear, feel, distinguish
and evaluate music. In this direction, it is possible to

properly organize the educational process, use modern
methods, develop the musical potential of the student
through lessons based on our national values. In addition
to this, knowledge about the performance of the instrument
also contributes to the imitation of vocation, with a positive
effect on the aesthetic perception of students, educational
opportunities expand.
