The influence of environmental factors on the incidence of cattle

Alexander Gertman, Tatyana Samsonova
The monitoring of environmental objects (soils, water sources, forage crops) made it possible to establish the presence of an abnormal content of chemical elements in the studied material. Thus, the level of essential trace elements was significantly lower than the normative indicators, and the concentration of heavy metals, on the contrary, was higher. On the territory of the studied farms in the herd, during a clinical examination, an increased incidence of cows with diseases such as rumen acidosis, hepatosis, osteodystrophy and others was established.
