In our independent Uzbekistan, due to the attention being paid to the youth, our

young people are moving rapidly towards the future. With the Resolution No. 163 of

the Cabinet of Ministers dated March 29, 2021, a regulation on measures to organize

dual education was approved. Middle-level specialists play a crucial role in the

development of the economy. There is a high demand for workers and specialists in

the fields of production, industry, and services.

Dual education is a teaching system that combines theoretical and practical

training, where students gain knowledge at an educational institution while also having

the opportunity to undergo practical training at an enterprise or organization. This

system is widely used in countries such as Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, and its

high effectiveness has been proven.

One of the greatest advantages of dual education is the opportunity to immediately

put the acquired theoretical knowledge into practice. In the traditional education

system, students complete their theoretical studies first and only then begin their

practical training, which requires time to adapt to their profession. The dual system, on

the other hand, helps carry out this process during the period of study itself.

In the dual education system, students stay closely connected with enterprises

during their practical training. This creates an opportunity for them to be employed by

the company in the future. Employers, in turn, gain the advantage of preparing suitable

personnel in advance. This is beneficial for both students and enterprises.

According to statistical data, students who complete dual education find jobs

faster compared to graduates of traditional education systems. This is because those

who studied through the dual system have already developed practical skills and have

formed as specialists.

Since students participate in real production and service processes, their interest

in their professions increases. Additionally, they become motivated to study

independently and work on improving their skills.

At the 2nd Polytechnic College of Chartak district, where I am currently working,

dual education has also been introduced. Starting from September 2024, students have

been admitted to dual training programs in the professions of tailoring and welding. In

particular, 27 boys and girls are currently studying in the field of tailoring.

Our polytechnic college has signed contracts with major employer manufacturing

enterprises. Among them, the "Ismoilkhon Savdo Servis" manufacturing company has

established a dual education system for our students. Alongside studying, the students

are working and providing financial support to their families. Each student is assigned

a specialist employee from the employer organization as a "mentor" (Ustoz).

Today, the products made by our students are being exported under contract to

foreign countries such as Russia and Kyrgyzstan.

The dual education system positively impacts the country's economy by

increasing employment rates, enabling young people to enter the labor market more

quickly, and raising the number of qualified professionals.

In conclusion, the dual education system is one of the most effective methods for

training specialists who meet the demands of the modern labor market. This system

benefits not only students but also enterprises and society as a whole. That is why many

countries are striving to implement it. By expanding dual education, it is possible to

increase youth employment, align education with the labor market, and contribute to

the economic development of the country.
