Communicative Language Teaching (CLT): Focuses on developing learners—

communicative competence by engaging them in real-life conversations, problem-

solving tasks, and group activities.

Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT): Encourages language use through the

completion of meaningful tasks such as writing an email, giving directions, or planning

a trip.

Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL): Combines language learning

with subject content, such as teaching history or science in the target language,

promoting deeper engagement and context-based vocabulary acquisition.

Flipped Classroom Model: Inverts traditional learning by delivering instructional

content outside the classroom (e.g., through videos or readings), while class time is

used for interactive practice and collaboration.

Blended Learning: Integrates face-to-face instruction with online components,

offering flexibility and supporting different learning styles.

Project-Based Learning (PBL): Involves students in extended projects that require

the use of language to research, create, and present a product or solution, enhancing

both linguistic and critical thinking skills.

Techniques to Enhance Language Acquisition

Enhancing language acquisition involves immersing yourself in the language and

practicing consistently. In addition to technology and teaching methods, specific

techniques can be employed to improve language learning outcomes:

Scaffolding: Providing structured support that gradually decreases as learners

become more competent, such as using sentence starters or visual aids.
