BSTRACT
The article examines the problems of artistic creation and author's talent, in particular, Ozod
Sharafiddinov's relationship to the personality and creativity of the talented representative of Uzbek
literature of the 20th century, Odil Yaqubov, on the example of a historical speech of the writer.

NTRODUCTION
As noted by the President, "We should pay special
attention to instilling the priceless heritage of our
great scholars and writers, saints into the minds
of young people, strengthening their feelings of
national pride and pride." The scientific research
and research conducted in the direction of such
noble goals has a significant value in illuminating
the stages of the gradual development of the art
of speech and literary criticism. In particular, in-
depth study of the prolific work of the famous
scholar and thinker Ozod Sharafiddinov, who
made a great contribution to Uzbek literature and
literary criticism of the new era, in the context of
the literary process, without a doubt, is one of the
current topics and problems of today.
In the spirit of literary criticism, which was
formed in the difficult period of 20th century
Uzbek literature and criticism, the principle of
nationalism and striving for impartial literary
interpretation was the leading principle.

Unfortunately, during the Soviet period, criticism,
like literature, was forced to submit to the ruling
communist ideology and become its "tool". It is a
bitter truth that the infamous political-ideological
system in the totalitarian society does not allow
freedom of creativity, objective and truthful
analysis
and
interpretation.
With
the
reconstruction processes of the 1980s, openness
and creative enthusiasm began to be felt in
literary and critical thinking. As in artistic
creation, in the field of literary studies, there was
an opportunity to impartially study spiritual
values, literary and historical sources, to
approach their analysis and interpretation on the
basis of new criteria. The process of absorption of
national ideology and ideas of independence into
science, in particular, Uzbek literary studies and
criticism, is manifested in the impartial, scientific
analysis and interpretation of artistic works. In
this regard, there is no doubt that the work of
Ozod Sharafiddinov is of great importance. At
present, it is necessary for Uzbek criticism to pay
more attention to glorifying national and
universal ideas and values, revealing the harmful
nature of ideas that are against the ideology of
independence, and this is an important and
responsible task. As stated in the works of Ozod
Sharafiddinov, combating the limitations and
poverty of thought in life and creativity,
maintaining a healthy ideological environment
and achieving freedom of thought through debate
and discussion, open criticism and analysis are
among the main problems.
In the process of artistic analysis in criticism and
literary studies, ontological and systematic
methods of analysis are relatively leading and
attention to scientific-comparative analysis has
increased, recognition of Navoi period and
Eastern literary studies as a unique school of
poetics, inter-literary creative influence and an
The fact that special attention is paid to the study
of these problems and the creation of significant
researches in these directions is a positive
principle and a serious effect of criticism and
literary studies. However, despite this, the next
half-century of activity and development,
achievements and problems of Uzbek literary
criticism and literary studies were not put into
the analysis center in the form of special scientific
research. In particular, the rich and colorful
literary and critical works of Ozod Sharafiddinov,
who is distinguished by his unique talent and
unique creativity in this front, will undoubtedly
acquire important historical-scientific and
spiritual-aesthetic significance as they reflect the
spirit and problems of the time.
According to the scientific-historical sources,
which illuminate the relationship between the art
of speech and literary criticism, the true meaning
of criticism and the interpretation that discovers
the meaning and beauty of an artistic work, as
Ozod Sharafiddinov dreamed and practiced, first
of all, it is related to reading at a high level. The
great modern enlighteners have written many
times about the need for such a high level of
"professional reading" in order to read the
literary text and understand the literary meaning
underlying it. Already, in Eastern literary studies
and criticism of the Navoi period, ilmi dark
(science of perception), urafo (interpretation
based on existing views) and zurafo (feeling the
elegance-newness in the work) are defined as

scientific and spiritual conditions and factors of
the interpretation process.
We know from the history of world literature that
in the work of every poet and writer there are
works that have a special place and importance
among the works created by that artist
throughout his life. For example, according to
literary-historical sources, Khusrav Dehlavi, who
is considered one of the world's best anavis, "even
if all my devans and epics in hamsa disappear
with the passage of time, if only one ode "Daryoi
abror" remains, this work will show who I am, my
poetic skill and greatness", he predicted.
Or our famous writer Abdulla Kahhor, who in
many ways was a mentor to Ozod Sharafiddinov
and dozens of talented artists who entered the
world of literature with him, said, "If an exhibition
of his works is to be organized in time, He said
with a dream that he would put on the comedy
"Sound from the Coffin". Another example from
the history of our literature and spirituality: it is
well known to the readers that our great writer
Odil Yaqubov, who studied the work of Ozod
Sharafiddinov extensively, made a great
contribution to the development of our literature
with his several stories and novels on modern and
historical topics. . In particular, the work of Odil
Yaqubov, and especially the novels of the writer,
are works created with high skill after the famous
novels of our mentor writers A. Qadiri and Oybek,
and the well-known works that managed to raise
the Uzbek novelist of the 20th century to a new
level. Literary scholar Azimiddin Nosirov also
emphasized it in his doctoral thesis.
But it is amazing that such famous works of art
created by our famous writer throughout his life,
on the one hand, he made a speech as a former
People's Deputy of the USSR at the Moscow
Kremlin Palace (1989). Several close colleagues
and pen pals, such as Ozod Sharafiddinov,
remember with great admiration and pride that
he considered his essay to be more important
than his entire work. Is it possible that one
speech-lecture of a great writer like O.Yaqubov is
higher than the great works of his 40-50 years?
We are sure that the comments of Ozod
Sharafiddinov, who knew the life, work and
strong personality of Odil Yaqubov closely, once
again demonstrated this vital truth and the
scientist's deep and creative observation of the
world of thinking and imagination was
extraordinary and brilliant. We can say with
confidence that people who did not hear and do
not know the historical speech of Odil Yaqubov
shouted from the highest pulpit, read the essay-
article written by Ozod Sharafiddinov analyzing
the content and vital sources of this speech and
read that speech can't be glazed. In order to be
sure of this, we need to read the analysis and
dreamy conclusions of Ozod Sharafiddinov with a
strong sense of nationalism and inner sympathy
with a healthy mind and a healthy mind:
"Often, ordinary people expressed their pains and
cried out about the unprecedented injustices that
befell them in the letters, which were often
written in a rather illegible script. The pains
expressed in the letters burn the heart of the
person who reads them. As a fair reporter, he
should have dealt with these letters. However, he
was engaged not only in his official duties, but
also as a writer, as an ordinary person, and finally
as a child of this hardworking, suffering people, he

tried to help them with the help of the newspaper.
He even published sharp articles several times
and caused the release of some unjustly
imprisoned people. When he was unable to help,
the people's pains and sufferings entered the
writer's heart and became his pains and
sufferings. Wasn't the flame in his speech, the
temperature that made the hearts of the listeners
soar, a sign of the pains that surrounded the
writer for years? In addition, on that day, I saw a
strange scene on the screen - it seemed to me that
Adil, who was speaking excitedly, was not alone
on the pulpit. Behind him were the great writer
Abdulla Qadiri and the great teacher Abdulla
Qahhor, whose works Odil had loved to read since
childhood. It was as if Adil was talking about their
unspeakable pains, as if Abdulla Qodiri and
Abdulla Qahhor were approving, saying "Bless
you, Odiljon", patting him on the shoulder and
encouraging him.
In the essay, it is deeply understood where the
great courage of Odil Yakubov came from. That is,
he relied on his dear people, the traditions of the
great intellectuals who were the children of this
people, even when he composed the text of his
speech and when he stood up from a high pulpit
and shouted it so that the whole world could hear
it. Here are the painful and dreamy words of Azod
Sharafiddinov, which came to his mind in
connection with O. Yakubov's speech, and which
he wants to say to our readers and our people.
Like a good seed, it needs more or less respite and
favorable conditions for it to germinate and bear
fruit. At that time, this speech shook the whole
country and attracted the attention of the world
public to the pitiful situation of the Uzbek
peasant. At the same time, my friend's speech also
raised the status of the Uzbek intelligentsia, freed
him at least partially from unnecessary
reproaches and inappropriate accusations.
"When will you reach new heights in literature?"
The problems you have found - can an unmarried
guy love a teacher? Can a divorced woman love
another? Aren't there other more serious
problems in life? According to your questions, did
you fall into the last place in the region? In recent
years, have you created any articles or works of
art that have attracted everyone's attention? We
are used to living without recognizing our flaws,
giving ourselves a very high value..." Ozod
Sharafiddinov, while evaluating and analyzing the
talents and works of other artists, thinks first of
all, keeping the interests of the people and the
nation in mind.
