ABSTRACT
This study presents a comprehensive historical overview of the establishment and development of police professional
doctrine in Sudan. Spanning key periods, from the early foundations to contemporary reforms, the research unravels
the evolution and implementation of professional standards within the Sudanese police force. Through a meticulous
examination of historical records, policy shifts, and institutional changes, the paper sheds light on the challenges
faced, milestones achieved, and the impact of professional doctrine on law enforcement in Sudan. By exploring the
journey of "Guardians of Justice," this work contributes to a nuanced understanding of the dynamic interplay between

political landscape, the Guardians of Justice have
played a central role in adapting to the changing needs
of society. The evolution of police professional
doctrine reflects not only the maturation of law
enforcement practices but also the responsiveness of
the Sudanese police force to the unique challenges
posed by its context. From the early foundations to
contemporary reforms, this study endeavors to trace
the trajectory of professional standards within the
Sudanese police force, exploring the milestones,
challenges,

developments.
As we delve into the historical layers, it becomes
apparent that the Guardians of Justice are not merely
