ABSTRACT
In this article, Amir TEMUR, a great general and patron of science, who established a great kingdom in his time, took
a worthy place in Uzbek statehood and world history, and the place and role of Temur in Uzbekistan and World
historiography is talked about. Some information about the fact that he left an indelible mark in history as the ruler of
the state and patron of science, and about the scientific researches that studied Sahibqiran and its history in world
history.

INTRODUCTION
The historiography and source studies of Amir Temur
and the Timurids is not only a topical issue of history,
but also an important process that began to be studied
in the Middle Ages. The puzzling, interesting and
valuable information in this regard is considered one of
the topical topics that have not lost its importance in
the historiography of Uzbekistan and the world. the
study of culture as one of the major scientific directions
of historiography has always been in the attention of
scientists. Sources related to the history of the
Timurids have been translated into various languages
on a global scale and scientific research has been
carried out. G. A. Pugachenkova, I. Mominov, R.
Mukminova, B. V. Lunin, E. V. Rtveladze, P. Zohidov, L.
I. Rempel, A. Orinboyev, B. Ahmedov, D. Yusupova,
who laid the foundation stone for the development of
thermography at this place , O'.Alimov, T. Fayziyev, O.
Boriyev, etc., served to illuminate the history of Amir
Temur's reign. In 2003, academician B. Ahmedov, B.
Kasimov, I. Niyazov, B. Bannopov, M. Zikrullayev, Ya.
Muhammedov conducted some researches in the field
of Temur studies, and "Amir Temur Bibliography" was

bibliographic index titled "Amir Temur's reign", the
literature published only in the years of independence
in Uzbekistan was collected and classified according to
fields[2] After the independence of the Republic of
Uzbekistan, Amir Temur's identity was He was
completely freed from the historical injustice that
served his ideology. In December 1995, the First
President Islam Karimov announced 1996 as the year of
Amir Temur. "The Laws of Timur" was published in
several languages. Historical and cultural monuments
of that time were restored and written literature was
put into scientific circulation. Holy shrine - Amir
Temur's mausoleum was repaired
Publications related to the study of the period of Amir
Temur in world historiography, the formation of the
scientific direction "Temur studies", and the creation
of the image of Amir Temur in fiction began much
earlier. It would not be wrong to say that this process
started during the lifetime of Sahibqiran. The creators
of the European Renaissance looked at his personality
with great interest. "E. Gibbon, F. Schlosser, G. Weber,
Jean-Paul Roux and others, among the famous foreign
historians, gave information about the activities of
Amir Temur in their works" .
In fact, the interest of European scientists in the
personality of Amir Temur and his activities began in
the 16th century. The diaries of ambassadors and the
works of writers who were contemporaries of Amir
Temur are considered important information in
historiography, and the series of works written about
Amir Temur is not interrupted until now. Today, more
than 500 works of foreign researchers have been
published about Amir Temur and the Timurids in 33
countries.
Amir Temur's exemplary life, the history of his reign,
the study of science and culture in it, as one of the
major scientific directions of historiography, have
always been in the attention of scientists. First
President Islam Karimov said, "If I read Amir Temur's
books, I will feel as if I have found answers to many
problems of our time" [4].
In 2006, the third edition of the book album "Travel to
Samarkand, in the time of Timur" written by professor
Lucien Keren, the founder and president of the
association for the study of the history of the art of the
Timurid era, was published in Paris. This book was
written and prepared for publication in accordance
with UNESCO's "Silk Road - Communication Path"
program. The third edition of the book shows that it is
widely popular among readers, and it is a tribute to the
personality of our great grandfather, great general and
statesman Amir Temur. will certainly arouse interest
[5].
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, it should be noted that Sahibqiron Amir
Temur, a famous statesman, a skilled commander,
plays an important role in the development of
Uzbekistan's statehood. It is not for nothing that Amir
Temur is glorified in historical sources with the names
of "Master of the World", "Master of Justice" and
"Master of Justice" along with the name of Sahibkiran.
