“If women study, whole nation will study”
ABSTRACT
The study of foreign languages among women is a topic that is relevant for many people in today's world. The study
of foreign languages is one of the aspects of great importance for the development of human relations in the global
environment, obtaining legal and economic benefits, education and reading systems.
The fact that we spread the mastery of foreign languages in our country more between women and girls is equivalent
to the fact that we spread among the population of our entire country. Because every girl who knows a foreign
language, a woman in the future will certainly bring up a child who has mastered some foreign language in his family
as his native language.
In this article, I will explain why it is important for every woman and girl to learn foreign languages.

INTRODUCTION
The study of foreign languages has become
increasingly important in today's globalized world,
with a growing need for individuals to communicate
with people from different cultural backgrounds.

In our country, great attention is paid to the study of
the Uzbek and foreign language. As a vivid example,
we can cite the signing of resolution PQ-5117 of the
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated
19.05.2021 “On measures to bring the activities of
popularization of foreign language learning to a
qualitatively new level i
n the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
In particular, women can greatly benefit from learning
foreign languages, as it can provide them with
enhanced
job
prospects,
greater
cultural
understanding, and the ability to connect with people
from different backgrounds.
DISCUSSION
So, there is a chance and it is necessary to be able to
take full advantage of it. Below we will talk about why
women learn a foreign language, its benefits and
difficulties

Reasons for studying foreign languages and
opportunities they can offer
One important reason for women to study foreign
languages is the significant impact it can have on their
career opportunities. In today's competitive job
market, being proficient in a foreign language can be a
valuable asset, as it can make a candidate stand out
from the crowd. With so many businesses expanding
into global markets, there is a growing need for
employees with language skills to communicate with
international partners and customers. Women who are
able to speak a foreign language fluently therefore
increase their chances of being hired by multinational

companies, and can also take advantage of job
opportunities in industries such as tourism and
international development.
Another reason, as we mentioned above, is that a
learned woman brings up a learned child. In the Uzbek
family, mainly in the upbringing of children, the role of
a woman - mother plays a crucial role. If a mother
knows any foreign language, her child also has
knowledge ( 90-100% proficiency) in the same
language. Because lullaby, much of the various family
communications are conducted in that foreign
language, and the child from an early age becomes an
excellent speaker of that language.
Beyond career prospects, the study of foreign
languages can also provide women with a valuable
opportunity to gain greater cultural understanding.
Learning a new language involves delving into the
customs, traditions, and beliefs of a different culture,
which can broaden an individual's perspectives and
help them become more culturally sensitive. This can
be especially beneficial for women who may find
themselves working or traveling in different countries
and need to interact with people from diverse cultural
backgrounds. Additionally, it can help women to
develop empathy and understanding towards people
who may be different from themselves, creating an
inclusive and supportive environment.
Moreover, the study of foreign languages can also be
conducive to building social connections and fostering
personal growth. Learning a new language can help
women to connect with people from different
backgrounds and open up new possibilities for travel
and cultural exchange. It can also encourage self-
improvement and discipline, such as developing time
management skills to schedule regular study sessions
and practice speaking with native speakers. These skills
can also be useful in other areas of life, such as work
and personal relationships.

While there are many reasons why women should
study foreign languages, there are also several factors
that may make it more difficult for them to do so.
Women may have more household responsibilities,
such as caring for children or elderly family members,
which can restrict their time and resources for
language study.
In addition, language course fees can be quite
expensive, which may be a barrier for some women
who are unable to afford such courses. It is therefore
important for governments and organizations to
provide funding and support for women to learn
foreign languages, as this can have a significant impact
on their personal and professional development, as
well as the wider community.
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, learning foreign languages can greatly
benefit women by enhancing their job prospects,
cultural understanding, and personal growth. While
there may be challenges to overcome, it is important
to encourage and support women in learning
languages, as this can have a positive impact on both
their individual development and the wider
community. By empowering women through foreign
language education, we can build a more inclusive and
interconnected world.
