INTRODUCTION

In the last 2 centuries, the usage of ozone in medicine
has successfully started. The use of ozone therapy as a

remedy was first reported in the ХIХ century in

Germany. The German scientist Schonbein (1848)

reported the use of ozone for the treatment of
patients with pulmonary tuberculosis by inhaling
ozone. After that there were numerous reports of the
use of ozone in various diseases in the ENT organs,

skin, surgery. Another German scientist E. Payr
reported the result of treating the purulent meningitis
by endolumbar insufflation of ozone in 1935. At the
same time the author emphasizes the high bactericidal
effect of the input ozone. In the former USSR ozone
began to be used as a therapeutic remedy since the
50s of the last century ( Vetokhin. I.A. 1959,1963). They
used ozone in the treatment of laryngitis, pharyngitis
and tonsillitis. They have developed a special technique
for obtaining ozone using the Darsonval device. In the
medical practice of neurosurgery ozone is used as a
therapeutic remedy since the 70s of the last century (
Madyarov. S.D. 1972, Bolgaev. A.B. Mamadaliyev
1977,1984). We used ozone for the treatment of
arachnoiditis of the brain of traumatic etiology by
endolumbar injection. Ozone was obtained according
to our Bolgaev method. A.B. In 1977 device adaptations
for endolumbal gas injection. According to
Razumovsky. S.D in 1974, ozone in high concentration
has a detrimental effect on tissues. This property of
ozone is used in the treatment of cancer. For checking
the formation of ozone Vetokhin.I.A. 1959 proposed
iodine-a starch strip of filtered paper that turns blue in
the presence of ozone concentration in the air with
above 1% ozone-oxygen mixture. Ozone was
administered for diseases of the brain in a sitting
position. And with diseases of the spinal cord in a
supine position. We conducted endolumbal ozone
insufflation in 60 patients with cerebral arachnoiditis,
in patients with spinal cord injury. Experimental studies
in 30 rabbits. Our medical and experimental studies
have shown that ozone as a therapeutic agent has
already justified itself. At the present stage, ozone
therapy is successfully used in traumatology,
neurosurgery, diseases of ENT organs, surgery,
therapy (Bolgaev.A.B 1977,1990,1998,2003,2010,2015,
Apsattarov.E.A

1994,

Grosheva.S.A

1997,

Sharmukhammedov 1997). Let's focus on a specific
example of the use of ozone in surgical practice. The

big interest is the work of A.A.Apsatarov devoted to
the treatment of acute purulent cholangitis with an
ozone-oxygen mixture. The treatment of acute
purulent cholangitis for use in 47 patients. All patients
during endoscopic manipulations or intraoperatively
were injected through the biliary system with ozone-
oxygen mixture (20-30 ml). The obtained results
showed that the use of ozone-oxygen mixture for
choledacho sanation, both during endoscopic
manipulations and during surgery, allows for the relief
of acute purulent cholangitis in a short time (2-3 days)
without antibacterial therapy. The general condition of
patients improves, jaundice disappears. This allowed
26 patients (55%), to avoid cavity, 5 (11%) are extracted
from the relief of cholangitis before surgery, and
intraop erative sanation. Performed in the remaining
16 patients (34%) observed, reduced the risk after
surgical studies. Groshcheva. S.A. wrote the results of
treatment by ozone therapy in the complex treatment
of trophic ulcers, panaracies in 1997. Today ozone
therapy is actively being introduced into the practice of
internal diseases. The discovery of Helicobacter pylori
served as the basis for the revision of previous ideas
about the etiology, pathogenesis and methods of
diagnosis and treatment of gastric ulcer and duodenal
ulcer, as well as chronic gastroduodenitis. The
bactericidal effect of ozone was the basis for the use
of ozonated distilled water. In the treatment of peptic
ulcer disease associated with Helicobartre pulori as
one of the the bactericidal remedies. Muldaeva.G.M.
1997 using ozonated distilled water in combination
with histamine H-receptor blockers and antibiotics for
the treatment of 130 patients with gastric ulcer and 12
duodenal ulcer achieved good results. With such a
combination of therapeutic remedies, the author
managed to stop the pain syndrome of dyspeptic
phenomena in a shorter time. A high degree of erosion
of Helicobarte pulori gastrodudenal mucosa was
achieved the terms of epitilization of the ulcerative

defect were clarified. The author has established the
economic efficiency of this method of treatment of
gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer and recommended
practical activity by a therapist. Today, ozone therapy
is widely introduced into the practice of obstetricians
and gynecologists, for the treatment of inflammatory
diseases of the uterus and its appendages. Thus, ozone
therapy is increasingly used in practical medicine. The
next step is to developed the optimal concentration of
the ozone-oxygen mixture. For the treatment of
various diseases and injuries of the human div.
