ABSTRACT
In this article, the main directions of the development of student spirituality in higher education, based on current
issues, organizational measures, innovative methods and tools are covered in detail.

INTRODUCTION
In the implementation of spiritual education in higher
education, the main focus is on bringing up a creative,
knowledgeable, spiritually mature generation, pride in
the history, cultural heritage, and spirituality of the
Motherland, love, loyalty, reading the works of our
great scholars. Through learning, love for the
motherland is awakened in them.
The exemplary lives and scientific treasures of
enlightened and intelligent people are still illuminating
the pages of world civilization. Based on the nature and
historical experience of our people, spiritual education
and spiritual perfection have become an important
requirement of the idea of national independence.
1. This idea is the priority of the spirit of living together
as a community since ancient times in the life of our
new free and free society, the sanctity of the concepts
of family, neighborhood, country, love for parents, the
mother tongue, which is the immortal soul of the
nation. , which is a symbol of the literature of life, fully
reflects qualities such as respect for the female race,
hard work, honesty, and kindness. At the same time,
this idea highly recognizes universal human values such
as the rule of law, human rights and respect for the

representatives of different nationalities and peoples,
their national feelings and religious beliefs [1].
The educational and educational environment is a
means of forming and developing the student's
personality, and in order to effectively organize this
process, it is necessary to ensure the purposeful use of
methods and tools of the educational environment and
the participation of students in the process of its
improvement. The use of innovative methods and
tools during classes outside the auditorium affects the
improvement of students' creative and innovative
activities.
Therefore, first of all, let's focus on the concept of
"innovation". Innovation is an innovation introduced
to ensure the quality growth efficiency of processes
and products based on market demand. It is the final
result of human intellectual activity, his fantasy,
creative
process,
discoveries,
inventions
and
rationalization.
The term "innovation" is derived from the Latin word
"novatio", which means "renewal" (or "change"), and
the suffix "in" is translated from Latin as "in the
direction of", if it is used as a whole "Innovatio" ”
translated as “in the direction of changes”. The
concept of "innovation" appeared for the first time in
scientific researches of the 19th century [2].
In the dictionaries, innovation is said to be "new -
created for the first time, recently appearing instead of
the previous one, rediscovered in the recent past or in
the present, unfamiliar."
The efficiency criteria of pedagogical innovations are
determined as follows:
-
optimality (the effort and means used by the
teacher and the student to achieve the expected
result);
-
effectiveness (sustainability of positive results in
the teacher's work);
-
possibility
of
creative
implementation
of
innovations in public experience.
In contrast to the careful development of the
methodical development of lessons and non-auditory
activities encouraging the teacher to perform
effectively, educational technology is oriented
towards student activity, it focuses on individual and
joint activities of students with the teacher. taking into
account, serves to create the necessary conditions for
independent learning of educational materials.
It is also important to evaluate the effectiveness of
using innovative methods and tools in the educational
process, based on their potential, the effectiveness of
their implementation can be determined by a number
of criteria. They are:
-
ability to fully reflect the tasks of education and
personal development;
-
able to express modern science and technology
levels;
-
ideological compatibility with the age and
psychological characteristics of students;
-
complete provision of educational material with
necessary information;
-
provided the opportunity to use various methods
and tools in the educational process;
-
possessing the principle of ensuring that education
is demonstrative and open to all;
-
the possibility of using multifunctional educational
tools and their easy operation;

the level of the teacher's involvement in the
effective organization of independent work for
students.
The use of innovative methods and tools in the process
of developing students' spirituality in higher education
institutions is of great importance, and the
technological approach to this process is manifested in
the following cases:
-
determining the topic and idea of classes outside
the auditorium according to the personal initiatives
expressed by the students, according to their
wishes;
-
creating conditions for independent activities of
students in classes outside the auditorium;
-
taking into account students' skills, abilities, and
interests in the methods used in the content of the
training;
-
that the role of the teacher in the organization and
conduct of classes is not to be given, but rather to
be reflected as guiding students, guiding their
activities and giving advice where necessary reach;
-
-discussing the achievement of the purpose of the
training outside the auditorium based on the active
participation of the students of the group.
In the course of training outside the auditorium, the
main focus is on conducting spiritual and educational
events among students, the design of these events is
carried out in the following stages:
1)
collecting materials related to the topic of the
event;
2)
defining the purpose and tasks of the event;
3)
development of the content of the event;
4)
choosing the form, methods and tools of the
event;
5)
determining the time of organization and holding
(duration) of the event;
6)
development of the educational event scenario;
7)
monitoring students' activities, evaluating their
activity levels informally (without informing them
about it);
8)
application of the project in practical activities;
9)
event organization process;
10)
discuss the state of the event (effective,
ineffective, successful, unsuccessful) and draw a
final conclusion.
Based on the main directions and current issues of
developing students' spirituality in higher education, it
is necessary to implement the following organizational
measures:
1. Taking into account the introduction of tutoring
activities in higher education institutions, critically and
analytically reviewing and improving the spiritual
education plan, implementing the state policy
regarding youth in the "Year of Honoring Human
Values and Active Neighborhood" to increase and
realize the direct connection between the education of
the new generation and the national development, to
take into account the content, effectiveness, interests
and aspirations of young people in the design of
spiritual and educational events, and to make
extensive use of modern pedagogical and information
and communication technologies in the process of
education.
2. Wide application of the "Rules of Ethics" of the
higher educational institution to the educational
process, wide use of forms and methods of education
in spiritual and educational work, including
systematicity in the "Day of Spirituality" events,
ensuring coherence and consistency.

Strengthening
cooperation
with
public
organizations, in this regard, within the framework of
"Family-Neighborhood-Educational
Institution
Cooperation", ensuring the health and stability of the
social and spiritual environment, "Leader and Youth",
"Parents' Day" to improve the system of working with
parents about the student's studies and morals
through events, to further increase the activity of
"Community Council", "Youth Union" organization and
women's councils in educational work.
4. Taking into account that the ideology of the new
Uzbekistan is the idea of goodness, humanity,
humanism, first of all, promoting the development of
thought education in young people, the education of
national and universal values, promoting peace and
tranquility in society, an important factor in
strengthening the environment of mutual equality and
respect to further increase the effectiveness of
educational activities aimed at educating young people
in the spirit of vigilance and awareness, and gratitude
for the reigning peace in our country.
5. To raise human honor, pride, dignity, and other
inviolable rights to the highest level of value in our
lives, to enjoy the achievements of study, work,
science, culture and art in our General Dictionary. to
make it our constitutional duty as a national value, such
as the care of adult, able-bodied children to take care
of their parents, parents to raise their children until
they reach adulthood.
6. Systematic organization of reading culture among
young people, further expanding the scope and weight
of young people's use of information-resource centers
in educational institutions, conducting various
competitions aimed at promoting reading.
7. To protect young people from the influence of
various harmful currents and information attacks, to
define specific, targeted actions in this regard, to
promote common life during the time of the entire
world being in a vortex of various crises, bloody
conflicts, acts of aggression and, finally, the
coronavirus pandemic that shook the whole world. The
only way to preserve a peaceful life, economic stability,
and our tomorrow is to preserve spirituality, to
strengthen the role of parents, mentors, and society in
the education of the young generation, youth, state
and public organizations, creative associations, active
intellectuals. , strengthening the role of neighborhood
elders, law enforcement officers.
8. To raise the legal consciousness and culture of young
people, to increase the knowledge of students about
the legislation and regulatory framework in the field of
education, to develop a plan of joint measures to
prevent violations and crimes in cooperation with law
enforcement agencies.
9. Carrying out large-scale information and explanatory
work on improving the medical culture of students,
strengthening the role of spiritual education and
sports, actively promoting a healthy lifestyle, among
students, especially girls instilling love for physical
education and sports, in particular, focusing on
systematic implementation of promotional activities
among young people.
"If the div of society's life is the economy, then its
soul and spirit is spirituality" itself, the warm word
means how important the role of economy and
spirituality is for the development of the country.
That's why, as the President noted, "As we decided to
build a new Uzbekistan, we rely on two strong pillars.

principles. The second is the rich heritage of our
ancestors and the strong spirituality based on national
values, from every leader to every citizen of our
country. In fact, as each family and each person
matures economically, we need to have a deep
intelligence that manages and uses it intelligently. The
importance of educating young people in the spirit of
patriotism and national pride, teaching history well,
and expanding scientific research in this direction was
considered an urgent issue on the agenda of the
meeting.
The fact that the task of developing the concept of the
development of the science of history in Uzbekistan
until 2030, the national "Mind Centers" are mentioned,
and the education of generations who are intelligent,
loyal to the motherland, far-sighted and rely on science
is the responsibility of each of us. is our important task
[3].
The main task facing higher education institutions is to
build a solid foundation of the Third Renaissance
period, which is extremely important in the
development of our country. Today, non-auditory
events and various contests held in higher education
institutions are being reviewed, new projects are being
prepared, implementation measures are being taken,
and contests are being re-analyzed by direction. Also,
in order to put an end to situations such as neglecting
family values and youth education, and early
prevention of delinquency among young people,
students from educational institutions in the regions
with difficult upbringing and their parents are
respected and honored by the country. Working in the
"neighborhood"
with
the
participation
of
representatives of the generation "Meeting of
Generations" project, "One intellectual spiritual
sponsor for one neighborhood", "One intellectual - a
mentor for five young people" principles, involving
professors, creative intellectuals, socially active
intellectuals system was created. Today, each higher
education institution develops separate "Roadmaps"
for the "neighborhood" work system and ensures the
implementation of the institutions.
"Independence is a great blessing", "Independence is
high spirituality", "Independence is self-realization",
"Uzbekistan- independent country", "Uzbekistan is my
country", "Loving the country is a matter of faith",
"How I love Uzbekistan", "The country is one, the
country is one", "We are building our future with our
own hands" , "Youth of New Uzbekistan - Self-
sacrificing" events will be the same.
In the course of the research, monitoring was
organized in higher education institutions on the topic
"Perfect human being and spiritual education" and the
following questionnaire was addressed:
1.
What do you mean by a spiritual person?
2.
What are your positive qualities and negative
qualities?
3.
Who is your ideal person in life?
4.
Can you be a perfect person?
5.
Do you have enough time to do activities outside
the auditorium?
6.
Do you approve of digital education (for example,
learning through video tutorials, interactive
lessons and exercises), will the lesson be taught by
the teacher if modern interesting programs are
used?
7.
Does the educational institution have enough
educational process useful for your future
profession?

When the questionnaires were analyzed, the students
expressed their opinions about the development of
spiritual education and gave information about their
positive qualities.
Also, in the course of training outside the auditorium, a
training session was held to improve the personality of
students. The goal of the training is to teach students
to acquire special knowledge, skills and abilities, to be
able to establish effective communication, sincerity,
friendly attitude, methods of cooperation.
Task:
- formation of creative motivations in students;
Expected result:
- improvement of student's personality and
development of spirituality.
Peculiarities of training. This training can be used by
tutors, pedagogues in cooperation with students in
conducting roundtable discussions and events.

Course of training:
Introduction.
- introducing training rules, goals and tasks;
- introduction to the methodology and exercises
carried out in the training.

- punctuality;
- respect the opinion of others.
10. The slogan of the training: "If you look for
happiness, you will not find it, fulfill your human duties
and happiness will come looking for you."
11. Golden rules of goal setting. (Slide show)

- enthusiasm;
- affirmation;
- subconscious.
12. "My bookshelf." Students are asked about their
family libraries and the contents of the last books they
read. The book provides information about the
importance of therapy.
13. Writing an essay on "My ideal person". Homework.

Final part: The training is concluded and general
conclusions are given.
During training, students learn to set goals, strive for
dreams, be responsible, and cultivate negative
qualities. In the training, students are helped to have
good qualities, to be able to control their behavior, to
show useful initiative, to be persistent, and to achieve
their goals. This direction leads to a deeply conscious
approach to self-understanding of the student.
Formation of a perfect generation is an important
process that has become a priority policy of the state.
Now, in the conditions of our independent republic,
spiritual educational tools are being applied to the
educational process. In fact, it is more difficult to teach
educational subjects than teaching the basics of
science with educational content. Therefore, there is
not enough experience in this regard, and specific
methods and tools for teaching have not been fully
formed. The demands of reform also require a new
approach to mastering subjects. We can say with pride
that we are the descendants of scholars who made
unparalleled discoveries, their legal heirs. Therefore,
the 21st century should be the century of humanity,
every person should have good qualities and
opportunities to realize the meaning of his life. As
society is moving toward spiritual growth and renewal,
human dignity, intelligence, and moral qualities are
highly valued in civil society.
CONCLUSION
The content of developing the spirituality of students
in higher education institutions was developed, and its
innovative methods and tools and forms were
developed from a scientific and theoretical point of
view.
