stages of life. Such music contains not only the great
lessons of the past, but also spiritual ideas for the
future. Each melody resounds with the people's
patience in difficult times, gratitude in happy days, and
aspiration for a prosperous future. That is why folk
music is valued not only as a model of creativity, but
also as an important part of the spiritual values and
history of the nation.

Today, preserving these rich spiritual and educational
values in folk music, teaching them to the younger
generation, and combining them with modernity are
one of the important tasks. After all, Uzbek folk music
is the cradle of our national culture, and its survival is
the main guarantee of the spiritual revival of our
nation.

METHODOLOGY

The methodological basis of this study is a
comprehensive approach aimed at analyzing folk
music samples and identifying their spiritual and
educational aspects. Uzbek folk music works are
considered a mirror of national culture and values, and
they were studied using various theoretical and
practical methods. For this purpose, semiotic,
structural, and cultural-anthropological approaches
were used in the study of musical folklore samples,
which allow determining their educational and moral
content.

During the research, the genres of folk music, the
values expressed through them, and how they affect
the life of society were studied. At the same time,
historical and comparative analysis methods were used
to determine not only the aesthetic, but also the moral
and educational role of music. In particular, in order to
determine the educational aspects of folklore, the

meanings in folk songs and melodies were
systematized and their relevance for today was
assessed.

In practical terms, the role of folk music in the
educational process and instilling national values in the
younger generation was studied. For this purpose,
conversations between students and teachers, musical
events, and practical exercises were observed and
analyzed. These observations made it possible to draw
conclusions about the educational impact of music and
its role in the formation of national consciousness.

In the research process, modern technologies were
used in the process of collecting and analyzing data.
Using multimedia resources to digitize and analyze
samples of folk music, their audiovisual images were
analyzed. This helped to identify effective mechanisms
for the preservation and promotion of musical
heritage.

Thus, the methodological approach is based on a
combination of theoretical and practical research
methods that allow for a comprehensive study of the
spiritual and educational aspects of folk music. This
approach has created an opportunity to understand
the place and significance of folk music in our national
culture more deeply and to determine its role in the
upbringing of the younger generation.

Works on the analysis of Uzbek folk music and its
features. Musicologists have studied the genres of folk
music in different regions of Uzbekistan and paid great
attention to identifying their stylistic and regional
differences. In particular, Fitrat's work "Uzbek folk
music"[1] is an important source for analyzing the
general development trends of folk music and its
spiritual aspects. Also, the works of Komiljon
Otaniyozov[2] and other folklorists deeply illuminate
the musical heritage of the Khorezm, Fergana and
Bukhara regions.

Works on the educational and educational significance
of folk music. Many works have been written about the
fact that folk music is not only a work of art, but also a
powerful means of educating the younger generation.
In particular, the pedagogical works of scientists who
conducted research on music education in Uzbekistan
reveal the educational significance of folk music. In
particular, the scientific articles of Omonulla
Yuldoshev[3] and Nodira Yusupova[4] shed light on
the connection between musical education and
national values.

Historical literature. Historical research shows how folk
music was formed over the centuries, what factors
influenced its development. In particular, the historical
works of Abdukodir Marogi[5], Hafiz Tanish
Bukhariy[6] and other authors are the main sources for
understanding the musical culture of their time and the
place of folk music in society.

Studies devoted to the analysis of folklore. When
analyzing folk music samples, folklorists pay attention
to their poetic and musical components, revealing the

content of religious and educational ideas reflected in
ancient melodies. In this regard, the works of
Sayfiqiron Sodiqov[7] and other researchers occupy a
special place in illuminating the cultural and moral
aspects of folk music.

Modern literature and technological approaches.
Today, there is an increasing number of works on
digital archiving methods of folk music, its promotion
on modern platforms, and its education for the
younger generation. In particular, articles and
textbooks related to the use of folk music in modern
education are a relevant source in this regard.

Analysis of the literature shows that the role of Uzbek
folk music is of particular importance not only as a
national heritage, but also as a spiritual and
educational tool. Continuing research on this topic will
serve as an important tool in conveying national values
to the younger generation through folk music.

DISCUSSION

Uzbek folk music is a musical expression of the spirit of
the nation, an expression of its aspiration for spiritual
heights. Folk music does not lose its importance not
only as a powerful means of understanding national
identity, but also as a means of promoting spirituality
and enlightenment. Therefore, the study of folk music
and its application in various aspects of social life has
become a pressing issue in modern times.

layers in its composition. Each folk song or melody
expresses values such as humanity, kindness, and

principles of society, the ideas of love and loyalty, and
the concepts of serving the people are conveyed
through musical rhythm and words. This allows us to

This creates a solid foundation for preserving the rich
heritage of folk music and passing it on to future
generations.

been used to study and promote the spiritual and
educational values of folk music in more depth. In
particular, the study of the harmony of folk music with
modern art, its international significance, and its
interconnection with other cultures opens up new
prospects in this regard.

and educational values, is not only a part of national
culture, but also a part of universal heritage. Its deeper
