Introduction:
Music plays a significant role in the
education and development of students. It not only
develops hearing, a sense of rhythm, intonation
literacy, but also contributes to the formation of a
creative personality. In this context, music lessons in
comprehensive schools are an important tool that
helps develop creativity, emotionality and the ability to
express themselves in children. The article discusses
the key aspects of the formation of a creative
personality of students through music education.
1. The role of music in personality development. Music
is not only an art, but also a powerful means of
influencing a person's inner world. In school education,
it helps students not only master musical skills, but also
develops their emotional sphere, stimulates thought
processes. Through music, children are taught to feel,
understand and interpret the world around them,
which directly affects the development of their
personality. During music lessons, students learn to
perceive the world not only logically, but also
emotionally, which contributes to the development of
their creative abilities. Music teaches children to see
harmony, enjoy its beauty, and also to identify hidden
meanings in works, which activates creative thinking
processes.
2. Practical implementation of creative skills in music
lessons. Music lessons, especially when it comes to
creating musical compositions or improvisations, are
an important stage in the development of students'
creative abilities. Through practical activities, children
learn not only to perceive music, but also to create it,
which gives them the opportunity to express their
individuality, expands their musical horizons and allows
them to implement their own ideas. One of the
effective methods in this area is improvisation. It allows
students to work with musical instruments, experiment
with various musical techniques, and also teaches them
to find unconventional solutions. Thus, through
improvisation and experimentation, not only musical
skill is developed, but also the ability to think outside
the box.
3. Individual and collective forms of creative activity. An
important aspect of music lessons is the combination of
individual and collective work. Each student can work
on his own musical project, but performing musical
pieces together or participating in musical ensembles
helps develop skills in interacting with other people,
working in a team and taking into account multiple
points of view. Collective work encourages students to
collaborate and also gives the opportunity to
empathize and interact with musicians, create common
musical projects. As a result, students begin to perceive

music not only as a personal expression, but also as part
of a wider cultural context.
4. The influence of different musical styles on the
formation of a creative personality. In the process of
teaching, it is important to introduce students to
various musical genres and styles. This expands their
horizons and helps to form a deeper understanding of
music. Familiarization with classical music, folk
melodies, jazz, rock or modern trends helps students
develop the ability to perceive music in a variety of
ways. Each style has unique features that can influence
the development of students' creativity. For example,
classical music helps develop a sense of harmony and
structure, while jazz and improvisation can stimulate
creativity and the ability to quickly adapt to changing
conditions.
5. Education of aesthetic values and self-expression. It
is important to note that music contributes to the
education of aesthetic values, which in turn helps
students recognize the beauty of the world around
them and appreciate art. The development of aesthetic
taste through music influences the formation of the
student's general culture and his ability to express
himself.
Music lessons create a space for students to express
their emotions, ideas, experiences through music,
which contributes not only to the development of
creativity, but also to the formation of self-confidence.
This is very important, especially in adolescence, when
basic personality attitudes are formed.
CONCLUSION
The formation of the creative personality of students in
music lessons in comprehensive schools plays an
important role in their overall development. Music
education develops not only skills related to music, but
also contributes to the development of creative
thinking, the ability to express themselves and interact
with the world around them. Music lessons give
children not only knowledge of musical works, but also
opportunities to demonstrate their creative abilities,
which helps them develop as individuals. Thus, music
education becomes a powerful tool in the process of
raising a harmonious, creative personality, capable of
thinking outside the box, feeling the world and
expressing their ideas through art.
