THE PECULIARITY OF EXPRESSION OF "UGLINESS' IN
ENGLISH AND UZBEK PROVERBS
Annotation:
This article is a feature of the expression of “ugliness” in Proverbs in English and
Uzbek.

Introduction
In modern linguistics, from this point of view, a deeper study of proverbs in comparative
linguistics and folklore studies is gaining importance in linguistics. An important feature of it is
that it has an interdisciplinary character and is being researched in every field of science.As a
result,paremiology, the study of Proverbs, emerged as a separate field in linguistics.
Proverbs are one of the genres of folk oral creativity of great importance, and today,
through a deep study of proverbs in comparative linguistics, new facets of linguistics are being
revealed.
Research on the articles began mainly in the 19th century, with scholars such as Hodi
Zaripov, Buyuk Karimov, Ghazi Yunusov, Ghulam Zafari, and later Mansur Afzalov, Oxunjon
Sobirov, Zubayda Husaiynova, Ghani Jahongirov, Rajab Jumaniyozov, To’ra Mirzayev, Bahadir
Sarılokov, Malik Murodov mainly contributing to the collection of Proverbs. Later, a
comparative study of the internal structural structure of Proverbs and other languages, that is,
translational work on Proverbs, began. M.Abdurahimov, H.Abdurakhmanov, M.Sadikova,
G'.Salomov, H.Karomatov, K.Karomatova, H.The role of the berdiyorovs is incomparable.
The knowledge, experience and imagination accumulated during human activity is his

different it also occupies a significant place in the vernacular.
Analysis shows that the people's views on evil on the axiological scale, the illusion of misery

Conclusion
The English and Uzbek proverbs are cultural heritage of these peoples. They contain cultural
heritage of the Uzbek and English peoples. They reflect all the thoughts of the Uzbek and
English people, their worldview, their way of life, their character and e;tigod. As long as each
nation has its own descriptions, this does not affect their Proverbs either. Even though the themes
in some Uzbek and English proverbs are similar, the characters in them are characterized by non-
repetition. It is these images that provide national coloring in Proverbs.
