the dream of a new way of life, while the second part portrays a clash of interests and values.

Literary analysis of the work

Said Ahmad’s story “Juraqul from Jiydali” is one of the works that vividly reflects the ideas of

diligence, loyalty, and humanity in Uzbek literature. The work highlights the life path of the

main character Jurakul, his arduous work in rural life, loyalty to family values, and his place in

society. The author reveals the character of the hero through simple but profound life events.

The image of Jurakul is a symbol of a typical Uzbek village youth, who manifests his personal

qualities through work. In the story, the author skillfully uses dialogues, inner monologues, and

figurative means to reveal the inner world of the hero. For example, the images of Juraqul

working in the field show not only the difficulty of the work, but also his philosophy of life.

The supporting characters in the work – Juraqul’s father, fellow villagers, and teachers - further

enrich Juraqul’s character. Through them, the reader envisions the socio-cultural landscape of

village life. Additionally, national customs, work ethics, and mutual respect among people play

a significant role in the story.

From an artistic perspective, figurative devices such as metaphors, epithets, and similes are

of village fields” vividly portray his life connected to labor.

From a pedagogical standpoint, the story can develop several elements of speech competence in
