В статье содержатся размышления и комментарии относительно социально-
психологических особенностей подготовки юношей к семейной жизни в условиях
различных реформ, проводимых в нашем обществе, а также педагогических условий.

SOCIO-PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS OF PREPARING
YOUNG PEOPLE FOR FAMILY LIFE
Abstract:
The article contains thoughts and comments on the socio-psychological features of
preparing young men for family life in the context of various reforms being carried out in our
society, as well as on pedagogical conditions.

The problem of preparing the younger generation for the future great life is an integral part of the
concept of strengthening the independence of Uzbekistan, a national school, an important factor
in the restoration of national values. As the head of our state noted, “National feelings are natural
for a person, because they are inherited from parents, they are expressed in the words of a child
to his mother, father, and the world. Without instilling love and respect for his people, their
traditions, language, and culture, it is impossible to educate a true person, a patriot who considers
his people, his Motherland to be equal in the community of world nations, and who will
adequately protect them,” - he said. Our esteemed President Sh.M. Mirziyoyev said, “The family
is sacred for me. Its sacredness is that, first of all, no matter where you work, no matter who you
are, if you do not pay special attention to upbringing in the family, the environment in the family,

honesty in the family, attitude, and upbringing, there will never be any results. That is why I pay
great attention to the upbringing of my children. I have a special attitude towards each of my
children and grandchildren. I know the individual character, dreams, desires of each of my
grandchildren,” these words show how important they are in today's globalization era.
Independence In the conditions of today's development of Uzbekistan, the issue of forming a
new generation of citizens is being put on the agenda. To solve this issue, it is important to study
and apply the rich heritage and advanced experiences of Uzbek folk pedagogy.
Today's problems of family development, strengthening the family and family upbringing
require work on the basis of folk pedagogy materials in preparing teenage boys and girls for
family life, and the development of pedagogical foundations for this issue. In this, the spiritual
and moral education of boys and girls plays a special role.
The future fate of our country directly depends on the confidence in the future, the profession,
knowledge and qualifications of our youth. In our country, a “National Program for Personnel
Training” has been developed. The tasks set out in the program required a fundamental reform of
the education system and led to the adoption of a new version of the Law “On Education”. Today,
both state documents of historical importance serve as the main basis for educating young people
in our country who have general and special knowledge, a modern worldview, and national and
universal values. Every thoughtful, educated, professional, and intelligent young person does not
look indifferently at the fate of himself and others. This, in turn, serves to further deepen the
understanding of the responsibility for building a family and the family they have built. Family
responsibility in young people prevents many divorces and the increase in orphans. In addition, it
is clear that children from a well-established family will make a positive contribution to the
prosperous future of our country. Because a person who is intelligent and thoughtful will always
strive for goodness and goodness, and if necessary, will call others to goodness, and will boldly
strive to improve their homeland and country. Every right-minded and thoughtful person knows
that protecting their homeland and improving it is one of the most important criteria for a happy
life.
It is necessary to awaken in the hearts, minds, and thoughts of our youth today
national pride, a sense of patriotism, and a heartfelt love for a person, his family, home, and
neighborhood, and the dear place where the umbilical cord blood was shed - the Motherland.
These constitute the content and essence of the Uzbek national mentality. Instilling these
qualities in the minds of the younger generation of our time is a psychologically and
pedagogically complex, multifaceted, and long-term process, and the most important factor
underlying it is the economy. The tactical and strategic path of the head of our state is also aimed
at this. The younger generation must understand this correctly. The future fate of our country
depends on these young people. Every country in the world has the will to strengthen its national
interests. This, naturally, gives rise to healthy, friendly, and mutually beneficial competition.
National development depends on the creative potential of the people, and in the development of
a child into a full-fledged person, his lineage, upbringing in the family, and the community play
a large role. Since ancient times, our people have attached no less importance to upbringing than
education. There is a proverb that says, “A child has seven neighboring parents.” The proverb,
“Do not be a scholar, but be a man,” is also widespread among Uzbeks. These proverbs have a
great philosophical meaning. The concept of nation and humanity, along with such human
qualities as decency, pure spirituality, piety, honesty, and patriotism and love for others, also
includes such concepts as patriotism and love for others. The Uzbek people have formed such a
diverse national mentality and an Uzbek-style system. This system covers the years from the
birth of a child to the period when he reaches adulthood and steps into an independent life.
Today, the main links of this traditional system are the family, neighborhood, school, secondary

specialized and higher educational institutions.
At the very beginning, the role of the family is invaluable. Parents are valued as the
honor of the family, the successor and leader of the clan. If the family is an example of honesty,
hard work, compassion, and kindness, then the upbringing of the child will be shaped
accordingly. For this, there should never be any obstacles between the parents in raising the child.
There is no greater joy for parents than a child. For this, parents must be able to allocate time,
and the child must feel the love of the parents in practice. In her article titled “Within the family -
the main criterion of family interests”, pedagogical scientist O. Musurmonova emphasizes that in
order to prepare young people for family life, restore and form the work of parental universities,
it is advisable to introduce a “Course for preparation for family life” into the higher and
secondary specialized education system in order to increase attention to the work of preparing
parents for raising children, and providing young people with medical, pedagogical and
psychological knowledge (Musurmonova O. “About the family - the main criterion of family
interests. - she emphasizes.
It is natural that the seminars held by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan in
cooperation with various state and non-state organizations on the concept of social protection of
family, motherhood and childhood give positive results in increasing the legal knowledge of
young people.” In raising young people of puberty in accordance with modern requirements,
training them through special programs will give the desired result. In this, lectures, discussions,
round tables, educational hours with the involvement of qualified specialists such methods can
be used.
The family is the first place of upbringing for every person. The first upbringing is
also the family. Therefore, the maturity of our children depends on how they are raised in the
family, on the spiritual and moral purity, literacy, entrepreneurship, humanity and patriotism of
young men and women.
In the process of preparing young men and women for family life, the use of the traditions,
culture, customs and moral qualities of the Uzbek people, and the eastern peoples is a necessary
source for the spiritual maturity of young people. In addition, holding various meetings in
neighborhoods, enterprises, organizations, and educational institutions to prevent immoral acts
between young men and women, and to put an end to the situation of starting a family before
puberty will be an important factor in the practical implementation of the “Preparation of Youth
for Marriage” program developed by the Cabinet of Ministers' Concept of Social Protection of
Family, Motherhood and Childhood.
Necessary conditions are being created to prepare young people for family life and to
establish a healthy spiritual and moral environment in the family. In particular, the work carried
out under such programs as “School of Mothers”, “Fundamentals of Medical Affairs”,
“Adolescence” is noteworthy in this regard. In accordance with the "Family Code", work has
been initiated to organize a medical examination of young people before marriage, and a
dispensary for the first five years of young families, and the state has allocated a large amount of
funds. In each city and district, under the marriage registration departments, "Family Clinics"
have been established to provide young people with the necessary information and lessons on
such extremely important issues as the family, its sanctity, responsibility, and child rearing. More
than 20,000 married boys and girls have been examined and provided with medical care. More
than 5 million women of childbearing age have undergone a comprehensive medical examination,
about 98% of children under the age of 6, and those who are eligible for treatment have been
placed under dispensary supervision, and rehabilitation work is being carried out.

Young men and women who have reached puberty share their secrets with their
loved ones. Because a young man and woman who are reaching puberty want to tell someone
their secret, their situation. At such times, if parents take this issue more seriously and can
correctly express and explain their thoughts and attitudes, the child will be able to find the right
path.
In order to find out what should be paid attention to today in the matter of preparing young men
and women of puberty for family life, what problems exist in this regard, we turned to the
creative obstetrician-gynecologist Gaybullaeva Feruza Idillaevna:
- Puberty occupies an important place in the life of every young man and woman.
The reason is that one wrong step taken during this period can ruin a person's whole life, his
dreams and hopes. Therefore, regular interaction with adult children is the main task of parents,
teachers, and, above all, us doctors.
Our young men and women on the threshold of marriage should be given an
understanding of the biological and physiological changes that occur in them during puberty and
their theoretical foundations. They should be given an understanding of the medical aspects of
preparing them for family life by showing videos (animations) prepared by specialists for young
men and women of puberty.
In fact, both scientifically and naturally, our young men and women on the threshold
of marriage should first of all be physically ready. Because it is far from life that a young man or
woman with a physical weakness or defect will be happy in the future. Young people who are
starting a family should be not only physically healthy, but also mentally sound.
Secondly, young people who are starting a family should also be mentally ready to
start a family. Young people who are weak-willed, excessively emotional, with poor thinking
and memory create a number of problems when starting a family. For example, young people
who are overly emotional and jealous do not have an easy life.
Thirdly, one of the urgent tasks is to prepare young people who are on the threshold
of a family spiritually and morally in accordance with today's requirements. I did not describe the
decisions and instructions adopted by our government in this regard. The reason is that there are
enough relevant regulatory documents and instructions on this matter, says obstetrician-
gynecologist Gaybullaeva Feruza.
According to our scientists, in preparing young people for starting a family, it is necessary to pay
attention to the following aspects:
- strengthening propaganda and campaigning related to preparing young people for family life;
- paying attention to timely delivery of instructions and recommendations related to preparing
young people of puberty for family life to regions located far from the center;
- increase the responsibility of parents, community elders, and officials working in educational
institutions to prevent early marriage of young girls;
- establish regular improvement of pedagogical and psychological knowledge of parents in the
regions;

- increase the responsibility of communities and various organizations in working with parents
who have left abroad, entrusting the fate of their adult children to various people;
If we ensure full compliance with the procedures established by law in medical
examinations of young men and women starting a family, the families being built by our youth
will be strong. The strength of families creates the foundation for the strength of the state and
society.
Not only pedagogy and psychology pay close attention to the strength of the family,
but also great importance is attached to the well-being of the family in our country.
Family is selflessness. If the intentions of family members are healthy, they will be
selfless throughout their lives. They are ready to give everything they can anywhere to make
their chosen spouse happy. But a person with bad intentions thinks only about receiving. Some
men feel like they have a servant, not a wife. They want to find the happiness and contentment
they lack in singleness in a family.
