ACHIEVING MAXIMUM DENTAL HEALTH IN YOUNG CHILDREN THROUGH
THE INTRODUCTION OF MODERN TECHNOLOGIES
Abstract.
This article examines the potential of modern technologies to enhance dental health in
young children by addressing diagnostic, preventive, educational, and therapeutic dimensions of
pediatric dentistry. The integration of tools such as smart toothbrushes, laser diagnostic systems,
digital imaging, and AI-powered monitoring platforms is shown to significantly improve early
detection, hygiene practices, and minimally invasive treatment.

INTRОDUСTIОN
Diseases of the organs and systems of the div have not only medical but also social
significance, since they not only affect the quality of life of the population, but also cause
significant economic damage to the state [1]. In developing a prevention strategy, the triad
should be observed: society - health care - patient. Medical prevention uses modern approaches
to maintaining and strengthening the health of the population, forming motivation for a healthy
lifestyle. The activities of hygiene and prevention rooms (in children's dental clinics and schools),
consultative and health care rooms, prevention departments and rooms (in clinics), medical
examination rooms, health monitoring rooms and preventive activities are organized.
MАTЕRIАLS АND MЕTHОDS
The implementation of each type of prevention requires modern approaches.
Doctors of each profile, supervising the health of a child from the first days of his life,
implement the provisions of state programs for preserving the health of children. The programs
regulate the participation in its implementation of pediatricians, educators, medical personnel of
preschool institutions and schools, school teachers and parents. In this regard, the competence of
future educators of preschool educational institutions, school teachers in matters of organizing
the prevention of diseases of organs and systems of the div is of particular importance [2].
Studies of the level of sanitary culture of the population indicate an insufficient degree of
awareness of the population in matters of hygiene and sanitation, the lack of a clear
understanding of the rules for using products and other recommendations for maintaining health.
RЕSULTS АND DISСUSSIОN
In a newly erupted tooth, the root is only half developed in length, and the hard tissues of the
crowns of the teeth are poorly mineralized. Therefore, the enamel of such teeth is exposed to
adverse factors - teeth quickly dislocate from a sharp slight pressure on the tooth from the side.
In addition, caries develops quickly under the influence of acids formed in the oral cavity from
fermenting carbohydrates. But the creation of healthy conditions for the maturation of enamel
pays off with the formation of hard tissues of temporary teeth that are resistant to caries. For this,

a program for the prevention of dental diseases has been developed and the following activities
are provided in the section for young children. Breastfeeding is recommended for children from
birth until the appearance of the first teeth, since mother's milk provides the necessary nutrients
in an optimal ratio and in sufficient quantities to the growing div of the baby. In order to
protect the baby from cariogenic microflora, sanitation of the oral cavity of the mother and other
persons caring for the child is required. A pacifier should be used correctly: give it to the child
only during the period of falling asleep and remove it from the mouth after he falls asleep. A
pacifier should not be given to a child by force, since he needs it only in case of an unsatisfied
sucking reflex. This happens to children with artificial feeding, when a large hole is made in the
nipple and the child quickly gets full without satisfying the sucking reflex. The sucking instinct
fades away at 7-8 months, and the need for a pacifier will soon disappear. Sucking fingers, lower
lip, tongue, corner of the duvet cover and/or other objects can subsequently lead to an open bite.
If the bad habit of sucking fingers or objects persists, it is necessary to use prohibition methods,
fixing the hands at the elbow joint, lubricating the lips with fat or antiviral ointment (Gerpevir,
Tebrofenovaya, Virolex, etc.). At the age of 6-8 months, when the first incisors appear, they
require care to get rid of the film of sweet food on the surface of the enamel of immature teeth.
Having teeth, the child should eat coarser food for the correct formation of the chewing function.
The baby should not only remove food from the spoon with his lips, but also bite off and chew it.
When swallowing a food bolus, the lips should be closed, the muscles of the lips, cheeks, chin
should not be tense, and the tongue should be located behind the teeth. It is recommended not to
specially sweeten food and drink and not to feed the child at night. Complementary feeding and
supplementary feeding should be done using baby food labeled "sucrose-free". These are
mixtures "Agusha", "Chudo Chado", but after their use, brushing the teeth is required with the
"first" silicone toothbrushes for children, put on an adult's finger, for example, the "Infa dent"
brush [2]. From 8 to 12 months of age, a toothbrush “R.O.C.S.” (Russia) or “Jordan” (China)
should be used for dental care. These toothbrushes have soft bristles, a short handle and bright
colours. From 10 months, you can use a special children’s toothpaste “R.O.C.S. baby”, which
contains xylitol, providing a pleasant taste and safety for the child’s immature teeth. An extract
of aromatic herbs is usually added to the paste. The child should be consulted by a dentist, who
will give qualified advice and cover the erupted teeth with fluoride varnish [3]. At 9 months, the
child already has four incisors, eats from a spoon, drinks from a cup and swallows freely. During
this period, feeding through a pacifier should be excluded. The child should be examined by a
pediatric dentist to determine the risk factors for dental diseases. If necessary, pressure bandages
are prescribed for the protruding areas of the jaw bones, plastic surgery of the frenulum of the
tongue, normalization of breathing after consultation with an ENT doctor, the use of vestibular
plates in case of the bad habit of breathing through the mouth. If the lower jaw has not moved
forward, the dentist recommends that the child sleep on a high pillow.
СОNСLUSIОN
Early childhood is key to ensuring the normal development of the dental system. The issues of
organizing prevention and implementing methods for preventing diseases of organs and div
systems play an important role in the work of a teacher. The Preschool Education Curriculum
regulates the participation of preschool educators and parents in implementing methods for
maintaining and strengthening children's health from an early age.
